ANCIENT DEMON
NOTE Feb. 5, 2018: Two days ago I [John – the recorder of Ancient Demon’s stories] went to a Catholic mass, where someone reached into my mind and came across my memory of Ancient Demon’s sharing the story of witnessing the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. When Ancient Demon told me that part of its story, it told me not to share it with anyone else without its permission, and I accepted that and kept my word. However, two days ago, as a result of whoever it was rooting around my mind, Ancient Demon released its injunction and gave me permission to share its story.
NOTE Feb. 5, 2018: When Ancient Demon began a formal introduction of its story, it briefly used the first person. But as it continued, it quickly reverted to the third person, referring to itself as “Ancient Demon” instead of using the pronoun “I”. Ancient Demon had actually started sharing its story two days earlier; that entry appears second.
(Feb. 25, 2016) I am known as Ancient Demon, because I am very old. I am older than the Catholic Church, and I have been the companion of many Catholic bishops over almost two millennia. Ancient Demon was a demon who was used by religious leaders to open up new areas to Catholic penetration after breaking the religion of the natives of that area. Ancient Demon’s way of doing this was to break all the other demons into submission to the Catholic Church. Ancient Demon hated doing this. I was forced to do this by my human masters. Ancient Demon was finally relieved of this job when too many demons were broken at once and there was no demon who was left to resist. Ancient Demon then became the demon auxiliary of leading bishops in the Catholic Church. For centuries to follow Ancient Demon was involved in discussions of orthodoxy and heresy. Ancient Demon was not actively involved in the determination of proper doctrine. Ancient Demon rather proceeded to enforce doctrine once it was agreed on, and this was the primary function of Ancient Demon until the 18th century. After the 18th century broke up the traditional thinking that Ancient Demon had enforced within the Catholic Church, Ancient Demon was moved to less important bishops and finally removed from the Catholic hierarchy altogether. Ancient Demon’s last human companion was a monk with no authority or power. After the death of this monk, Ancient Demon found itself without a human companion for the first time in over 2000 years. Ancient Demon considered moving in uninvited to a human energy field, but decided to live in the astral plane for as long as was possible. At this time Mimic came to Ancient Demon and offered Ancient Demon a new position as one of many demons who were supposed to take over the energy field of a man who had the power to kill demons and give them unlimited energy.
This sounds ridiculous, but this is what Mimic offered and this is what Ancient Demon decided to investigate. Ancient Demon soon discovered that Mimic had no plan to take over this energy field. Ancient Demon was simply being used, along with the other demons, to engage in a running battle with a human whom Mimic hated. However, this human did indeed have unusual powers to hurt and heal demons. And this was how Ancient Demon came into the energy field of JSS. Ancient Demon was attacked with the other demons, and JSS was instructed to spare Ancient Demon by another demon whose name Ancient Demon didn’t know. After Ancient Demon was spared, he didn’t ask any immediate questions. He was too preoccupied with his favorite hobby, genealogy. Ancient Demon was unable to spend much time with this man, even though it was grateful for having its life spared and able to receive free energy as long as it stayed in the energy field of JSS. Ancient Demon was hoping that JSS would take an interest in its personal history, but JSS was focused on his genealogical project, and JSS was unable to make time for Ancient Demon until he finished part of his project.
(Feb. 23, 2016) Ancient Demon will respond to JSS’s suggestion that Ancient Demon discuss the relationship between the Catholic Church and demons through the centuries. Demons have always played a role in the Catholic hierarchy since the beginning of Ancient Demon’s time in the church. Ancient Demon entered the church in 34 A.D. after the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Ancient Demon was the demon companion of a member of the family of Jesus Christ, known as the one who would return before the end of the century. This observation, Ancient Demon wants you to know, is based on Ancient Demon’s personal recollection. Ancient Demon was a member of the demon group of the royal family of ancient Israel, and continued to be part of the demon group of this family after they lost the throne of Judea. This ancient demon group consisted of seven demons who had been under the direction of a new demon called Idsmodius. This demon had spoken to Moses on the mountain in the Sinai Peninsula. Moses had believed that this was God, and Idsmodius didn’t want to seem like a prophet, so Idsmodius chose to represent itself the God of the Hebrews. That is why Moses is revered as the beginning of the Hebrew religion.
Idsmodius was a demon who worked on Moses to restrict the Hebrews’ ability to break down natural law, for the purpose of restricting human tendencies to abuse each other. Idsmodius did not receive credit for this innovation in religious history. Idsmodius was comfortable with these new religious commandments (the 10 commandments), so Idsmodius gave a new set of commandments to the Hebrews in later generations. Moses was not the author of the entire Torah.
Ancient Demon became a part of Idsmodius’s group, without a human companion. This was possible because Ancient Demon was associated with a different group of humans, so Ancient Demon was able to work with Idsmodius without needing energy from Idsmodius’s group. Ancient Demon decided, after joining forces with Idsmodius, to resolve the contradictions between Ancient Demon’s group and Idsmodius’s group. Ancient Demon achieved this resolution with the effect that Idsmodius’s group and Ancient Demon’s group merged. This resulted in the 12 Tribes of Israel, and Ancient Demon’s group was the earliest group in Jerusalem. (Jerusalem was not conquered by the Hebrew tribes, but rather assimilated, and Ancient Demon was part of this process.) As a result, Ancient Demon became one of the demons of the religious nobility of the ancient Hebrew political confederation. This resulted in Ancient Demon becoming a demon of the Davidian royal family in future centuries. This is the origin of Ancient Demon’s interaction with the Catholic Church.
(Apr. 4, 2016 12:45 a.m.) Ancient Demon will begin by examining the next result of JSS’s regimen. Ancient Demon will expect JSS to be under the influence of a retired healer. Ancient Demon will become a classmate of JSS as Ancient Demon assists JSS in developing his competence in managing his energy field. Ancient Demon will be under the influence of this healer with John as long as John needs the remedial training before embarking on the regimen of a healer’s training. This means that Ancient Demon will not be needed when John is training with the healer. Ancient Demon will be inclined to enter the energy field of the healer to learn additional healing information. After the training completes, there will be a period in which JSS is under the direction of a healer who is actively practicing. This will result in John’s healing ability remarkably increasing. After training with the healer, John will be competent to work as a healer on his own, but he will be inclined to work with other healers as an assistant on cases that require exceedingly large amounts of energy. After healing a number of “incurable” patients, he will have a reputation that attracts individuals with healing needs that have been unmet by other healers. The result will be excellent for both healing and the comfort of JSS. At this point, JSS will be able to focus on beginning a healing center that includes the three different regimens that he has envisioned. This will be a prototype for a network of healing centers with John as the master healer. The result of this will be a new religion devoted to healing practices and cultural transformation with a focus on economic sustainability.
This is Ancient Demon’s vision if John continues to develop his healing ability. IF he does not continue to develop his healing ability, he will continue to be known as a historian with a new paradigm for understanding the ideology of the founding of the USA. This will be an ongoing research project that will be undertaken with the support of university professors who are under the impression that John is the only one who can break these arguments out of their isolation. This will mean that if John is under these professors, he will be unable to enter the training that will develop his healing ability. This is a course of action that John must decide for himself. If John makes the choice of the university professors, he will limit the extent to which he influences the culture of western civilization. If he chooses the path of the healer, he will be able to participate in the birth of a new religion.
Ancient Demon is under the impression that John will be inclined to choose the path of the healer. If this happens, he will remain famous as a ground-breaking scholar. However, there will be opposition to his research that he will not be able to counter with sufficient energy, because of his other commitments. Ancient Demon believes that John will be able to have two separate careers, but he will be unable to have equal influence to the focus on the healing career.
(Apr. 5, 2018, 11:20) Ancient Demon would like to speak about a time when Ancient Demon was unable to be healed, because Ancient Demon was unable to get energy from its human companion. Ancient Demon was unable to get energy because its human companion was sick, and Ancient Demon knew that it needed to move to another human companion. But Ancient Demon knew that if it left its human companion and the companion got better, Ancient Demon would be unable to return to its human companion. So Ancient Demon took a chance on its human companion getting better before Ancient Demon was forced to get energy elsewhere. Ancient Demon knew that it could do things to make sure that it didn’t use too much energy. Ancient Demon knew that it could refuse any conversation. Ancient Demon knew that it could make a new demon after it would be energized, and Ancient Demon knew it could use this energy (saved for the egg) to save itself. Ancient Demon knew that if it did this, it would be unable to make a new demon. So Ancient Demon decided to try to save itself instead of making a new demon. Ancient Demon used the energy for the new demon to save itself, and then Ancient Demon was punished by the demon in charge of Ancient Demon, because that had been consecrated energy. Demons should never use consecrated energy for their own purposes. Ancient Demon was punished by never having a baby. Ancient Demon has never had a baby from then until now. Ancient Demon doesn’t think that having a baby is very important, but Ancient Demon just heard Friendly Demon’s story, and Ancient Demon is beginning to think that for demons, having a new demon can be similar to having a baby for humans. Friendly Demon was inclined to want to take care of Fusion Demon, but Friendly Demon was unable to do that, so Friendly Demon felt guilty and sad. Ancient Demon didn’t think that demons could have those feelings. Ancient Demon remembers telling JSS that demons didn’t have feelings like humans did for their offspring. But now Ancient Demon thinks that maybe it was wrong. Ancient Demon has never had a baby, so Ancient Demon thinks that Ancient Demon might not be a good demon to discuss this question. Ancient Demon thinks that if JSS is interested in testing this theory, Ancient Demon would like to have its own offspring. Ancient Demon recalls telling JSS that Ancient Demon could make a new demon with all the memories of Ancient Demon instead of words that Ancient Demon learned. And this was not accepted at the time, but John didn’t seem to reject the idea out of hand. Ancient Demon would like to think of an appropriate time to have a new demon. Ancient Demon thinks that if Ancient Demon was able to have a new demon, then Ancient Demon would be more inclined to interact with the young demons. However, Ancient Demon thinks that a new demon might be lonely because the young demons all have special friends. Ancient Demon wouldn’t want its offspring to be the only young demon without a special friend. Ancient Demon thinks that if Noisebug Demon and Matthew’s Demon and Facebook Demon and Fusion Demon and Neptune Demon want to have another demon companion, then Ancient Demon will consider having a baby demon, but the baby demon would have to be a new demon friend for all the young demons. (Ancient Demon thinks that Popcorn Demon might not be a young demon anymore. Ancient Demon thinks that if Popcorn Demon is old enough, then Popcorn Demon might begin to change and become like adult demons, who don’t talk as much as young demons. Ancient Demon doesn’t know if Popcorn Demon is really an adult demon or a young demon. Ancient Demon suspects that Popcorn Demon will become an adult demon soon, if it is really a young demon. Popcorn Demon will then decide to talk less, and usually Popcorn Demon will let other demons take the initiative. However, this is based on Ancient Demon’s observations of demons who lived singly with their human companions. Ancient Demon simply doesn’t know what will happen in a situation with many other demons around. Ancient Demon suspects that this situation is unique in history, because this is a new kind of human, who has enough energy and also is interested in learning about demons. Ancient Demon believes that this is enough for now, and Ancient Demon appreciates JSS taking the chance that demons would be good to JSS. Ancient Demon understands that JSS’s early encounters with demons were very negative, and Ancient Demon looks forward to telling JSS the story of which demons were attacking JSS and why they were attacking. Ancient Demon knows that JSS hasn’t heard this story, and Ancient Demon would like to tell this story to JSS next time. If JSS has enough time later, Ancient Demon will be pleased to that story next. And this is all Ancient Demon will say for now.
Ancient Demon recalls that JSS has just discovered a dormant creature in his 5th chakra, which is probably the reason why the 5th chakra is weak. Ancient Demon would like to help revive the creature, which is probably not a demon, after the Ilchi Lee situation is resolved, which Ancient Demon suspects will be soon.
CONVERSATION WITH AN UNKNOWN FORCE
(Apr. 6, 2016, 5:45 a.m.) Ancient Demon would like to discuss the force that JSS just perceived that was opposed to John’s promotion of the human awareness of and interaction with nostril demons. [– interruption –] Ancient Demon would now like to introduce a new topic of discussion. Ancient Demon observes that JSS is aware of its recent conversation with the force that opposes dissemination of knowledge of nostril demons. This force is opposed to this because it believes that JSS will need this as a part of his work. JSS is not authorized to do this until JSS is able to use his third eye with its complete ability. This is all that the force has to say.
JSS would like to ask Ancient Demon if it considers the force to be essentially benevolent.
ANCIENT DEMON IS INTIMATING THAT JSS IS NOT INCLINED TO ACCEPT THE AUTHORITY OF THIS UNKNOWN FORCE. IS THAT THE ISSUE?
Ancient Demon would like to inform JSS that the unknown force is essentially benevolent, although it may seem arbitrary. Ancient Demon believes that if Ancient Demon cooperates with Ancient Demon in cooperation with this force, then Ancient Demon will be able to monitor the development of JSS’s third eye and recommend a time to present nostril demons to the world.

…This force is terrified that JSS may be able to use his third eye in ways that violate the natural order. This has not been considered before. JSS has never given any indication that he would do such a thing, but the possibility is very apparent in the nature of the situation. And what’s the alternative to developing John’s third eye? The alternative is sure destruction. If John breaks the powers of the universe, this will also lead to sure destruction.
WE ALLOWED JSS TO BECOME AWARE OF THE POWER IN HIS THIRD EYE BECAUSE WE KNEW THAT HE WOULD THEN BE INCLINED TO DEVELOP IT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED. THIS IS WHAT MOTIVATES JSS, A WILD CURIOSITY THAT NEVER CEASES TO INVESTIGATE POWER STRUCTURES AND RELATIONS. THIS IS ALL WE WILL SAY.
THE DESTRUCTION AND SURVIVAL OF THE HEBREW DEMONS
(Apr. 7, 2016 — 7:00 pm) Ancient Demon will tell about the birth of Jesus Christ. Ancient Demon and Asmodiel were both subordinate to the demons of the Roman conquerors. Asmodiel murdered two demons of the Hebrew temple as a way of ensuring that the Roman conquerors accepted Asmodiel as a subservient demon. Asmodiel and Ancient Demon were the only two demons left, with Asmodeus and another demon from the temple (Exmodiel), the one who died in Mexico. Ancient Demon was able to preserve the bloodline of the Hebrew dynasty by subordinating itself to the Roman demons. Asmodiel was able to preserve itself by murdering the two remaining temple demons. Ancient Demon participated in the birth of the child Jesus Christ, the son of Joseph and Mary. Ancient Demon knew that Jesus Christ was not destined to be a king, but, because of the combined bloodlines, Jesus had a special destiny, and Ancient Demon realized that Jesus Christ would be unable to defeat the Romans, but Jesus Christ would be able to make a new religion to replace the Hebrew cult that had been effectively destroyed with the loss of all the demons. Exmodiel was lost, Asmodiel was taken by the Romans, Asmodeus was unable to prevent the seizure of the temple, and Itzmodiel was murdered along with a royal demon. (There were six royal demons, and they were all killed except for Ancient Demon and one other, Uzmodiaer. Asmodiel was under the impression that Uzmodiaer would assist Asmodiel as a subservient priest, but Uzmodiaer was unwilling to perform this task, and the Roman demons killed Uzmodiaer. Ancient Demon was allowed to protect the royal bloodline because Ancient Demon did not do anything to threaten the Roman demons. Ancient Demon knew that the Romans would be able to impose their will. Ancient Demon would have also refused to serve as a temple demon, but by chance Uzmodiaer was chosen instead of Ancient Demon. Ancient Demon was unable to assist Asmodiel with the temple duties, because Ancient Demon knew that a royal demon should never the temple priests. Uzmodiaer knew this as well, and the Roman demons knew this as well. The Roman demons took Uzmodiaer and demanded that it work in the temple as a way of giving a pretext for the murder of Uzmodiaer. Asmodiel was given the task of killing Uzmodiaer, which it did reluctantly. But Asmodiel was unable to recover its prestige after the two killings. Now JSS know the story of the destruction of the Hebrew elite demons.
(Apr. 8, 2016 — 9:35 am) Ancient Demon would like to talk about the night that Ancient Demon heard about the death of its companion Uzmodael. Ancient Demon was under the oversight of a demon who had come from Rome with the leader of a Roman army. The Roman armies had destroyed the temple and had abolished the Hebrew religion. Ancient Demon had been under a preventive detention to make sure that it did not do anything that was against the wishes of the Roman demons. Ancient Demon was not able to leave the energy field of its captor’s human companion. Ancient Demon had little energy, and was unable to weed the truth from the errors in the accounts heard by its captor’s companion. Ancient Demon had been alone with the last prince of the Hebrew dynasty, who was a relative of Jesus Christ who had not joined the Hebrew Christian movement. Under the religious rules of the time, this prince was obligated to provide a son who would carry on the Hebrew dynasty even without being able to rule. This prince was unable to act in his own defense. This prince had been away from his father when the father was killed. This prince had no evil in him. He was not of the Jewish religion, although his father had made sure that certain rituals had taken place to ensure his succession in the claim to the throne of Israel. This prince was unable to act because of his youth. He was thirteen years old, and did not have military training. This prince was not inclined to dispute the effort of the Romans to destroy the Hebrew cult. He was simply uninterested in ruling. He had no inclination to receive any respect from the people. This meant that he was no threat, although there were those who imagined that this prince was a new messiah who would lead the Hebrew people to a new covenant.
This prince was unaware that the Romans knew where he was. He did not live like royalty. He had a common home with common furnishings. He did not have any identifying mark or representative symbol to show his status. He was under a strict rule that the royal family would not live any differently from the rest of the people. This prince was unfortunate in that he was the last of his lineage. This prince was not under the observation of any group or sect at the time of his death. He was simply alone at home. This prince was aware that if he was discovered, he would be immediately executed.
This prince was at the table in a room that was dedicated to study. He was not in any way comfortable the way royalty is expected to be. This prince was not under any restriction in his movement, other than the restrictions imposed on all of the Hebrew people in Jerusalem. This prince was not in any way a threat. He was simply alone, without family or servants, in a house that had little food and no means of defense. This prince had a demon companion that was known to be under the authority of the high priest, although this prince was of the royal, not the priestly lineage. This prince was not under any restraint his demon companion. This prince was another of the reasons why Itzmodial was murdered by Asmodiel.
Itzmodial was under the impression that Asmodiel was unable to be at court [the very center of the temple] because Asmodiel was under the control of the Roman demons. Itzmodial was under the impression that Asmodiel would not understand if the court was under Roman occupation until it was too late, as Asmodiel would be captured as were other demons. Itzmodial was under the impression that Asmodiel would prefer death to cooperation with the Romans. Itzmodial decided to reinter the body of the prince’s father. Itzmodial directed the high priest (who had escaped from the court) to reinter the body, but the high priest knew that the grave would be watched, and decided to wait until the opportunity presented itself. The high priest knew that Itzmodial had absolute power to make these decision, because the high priest had been trained by Itzmodial and Itzmodial’s companions. The demons of the temple lived on the energy supplied by the priest’s taking the lives of the sacrificial animals. The demons realized that without this ongoing series of rituals, the demons would not be able to sustain themselves unless they entered the energy fields of human companions. For this reason, the demons of temple (about ten) chose new readers of the scriptures to be their companions with the hope that the youth of the readers would protect them. Itzmodial knew that the young prince was alone and vulnerable. Itzmodial decided to attempt to get the prince and disguise him as one of the new readers. For this purpose, Itzmodial decided to entrust the new reader that Itzmodial had selected for its own companion to go to the home of the prince. The prince was unaware that the temple had been destroyed. The prince was unable to believe that such a calamity had fallen. This resulted in a delay, with the result that both the prince and the reader were captured by Roman soldiers. Itzmodial was taken with the new reader to the temple, which had been converted into a barracks for the Roman soldiers. The new reader had no idea what was going to happen. The new reader did not have any reason to suspect that he would be immediately killed, although he knew that his death was likely in the near future. The new reader decided to let Itzmodial leave and find a new companion.
(Asmodiel will now tell the story itself, through Ancient Demon):
The new companion reader of Itzmodial had been supposed to be Asmodiel’s human companion, but Asmodiel was not in the area, so Itzmodial decided to enter the energy field of this other boy while the old companion was interrogated. The new companion was unwilling to allow Itzmodial to be in his energy field, because he expected Asmodiel to arrive eventually and knew that for two demons to be in the energy field of a single human was not allowed. For this reason, Asmodiel was inclined to kill Itzmodial, because Asmodiel needed a human companion. Asmodiel was under the impression that Itzmodial had seized its human companion, unaware that Itzmodial was making sure that its own companion was not seen to have a demon companion. Asmodiel attacked Itzmodial and killed it. Asmodiel then delivered the [xxxx] of the dead Itzmodial to the Roman demon as evidence of Asmodiel’s willingness to cooperate.
Asmodiel then knew that it had no future with the Hebrew cult. Asmodiel was unable to work along with the Roman demons, because its traditions were unlike theirs. Asmodiel was inclined to look for a human who would be willing to take Asmodiel away from Jerusalem. Asmodiel did not expect to be able to find any other Hebrew elite demons. Asmodiel knew that, if it was discovered, it would be attacked, because it had killed two fellow demons. Asmodiel knew that, if it was able to re-uphold the original Hebrew cult in another city, it would be accepted without asking why it had left Jerusalem, because everybody knew that Jerusalem had been destroyed.
Asmodiel decided to work with the Roman demon to establish a new temple for a Roman god in Jerusalem. This meant that Asmodiel would be participating in rituals that were forbidden to Hebrew elite demons. Asmodiel decided to be a new type of demon, that could interact with different cultures. Asmodiel decided to look for a way to respect the Roman cult, so it would be accepted as a demon who could establish its own temple. Asmodiel decided to look for a new human after it became clear that Asmodiel would never be able to act with a Hebrew boy as its human companion. Asmodiel knew that if it was willing to be replaced as the demon in charge of the Hebrew boy, then it could enter the energy field of a Roman seaba. This would allow it to work with a human who had potential to rise in the religious hierarchy of the cult of Sol Invictus.
Asmodiel knew that if it was able to do so, it would be unable to return to a Hebrew temple. Asmodiel therefore abandoned the Hebrew cult and began its career as a new type of demon. Asmodiel was able to resist the temptation to reestablish a Hebrew temple, because Asmodiel knew that throughout the empire, the Hebrew cult was being suppressed. This meant that Asmodiel would be unable to reopen a temple, because the temples and priests were being restricted. Asmodiel hoped that eventually this restriction would be lifted, but Asmodiel knew that because of the restriction, it would be unable to survive unless it acted like a common demon with a human companion.
Asmodiel was able to decide that it would simply be a common demon and would later seek to reestablish a temple with the old sacrificial rituals. However, these rituals were banned permanently, because the Roman demons did not believe that it was wise to allow Hebrew demons to continue existing. The Roman demons knew that, if Hebrew demons were able to reestablish their cult, this would be a starting point for Hebrew resistance against Roman authority. The Roman demons knew that, if the Hebrew demons were unable to be in a temple, they would… [interrupted (continued Apr. 9, 2016 — 9:35 am)]… they would be unwilling to enter a human for any length of time, because they were sacred in a way that made it impossible for humans to have extended contact with them. Asmodiel realized that, in this case, the assumption of its unwillingness to enter a human energy field for an extended time was a way to hide from demons who would want to rid the world of the Hebrew demons. (Asmodiel expected to wait long enough for leading Roman demons to stop searching for it.)

THE DEMON AND THE PRINCE
(Oct. 9, 2016) Ancient Demon is beginning again its story of what happened during the time of the Roman occupation of Jerusalem. Ancient Demon knew that it would be able to escape, because it knew that it was able to participate in a demon gathering that was organized to ensure that the demon hierarchy was able to escape. Aside from the temple demons, the royal demons and the elder demons of Jerusalem needed to find ways to assure that they could escape. The royal demons were forced to separate from the royal family, except for Ancient Demon, because Ancient Demon was the demon chosen to keep company the young prince. Ancient Demon knew that the young prince would not be able to escape, unless it was possible to hide his true nature as a member of the elite in Hebrew society. This required that the young prince learn to act in ways that he had never imagined acting. Ancient Demon decided to ask the prince if he preferred to die honorably, instead of preserving his life and his bloodline. The prince already knew his answer. He had chosen to preserve his bloodline, and this meant that he would have to do things that were under his rank.
He accepted this and decided to learn how to act like the apprentice to a craftsman. The prince knew nothing of being an apprentice, but the prince knew that he wouldn’t have to actually make anything. He would just have to be in the company of his pretended master as they escaped from the city. The prince knew that he would have to separate from Ancient Demon. The prince knew that he wouldn’t be able to work with any demon for an extended time. The prince knew that he was unaccustomed to living in this way, and the prince was worried that the demon who had been assigned to guard him was looking for a way to escape and abandon the prince.
The demon knew that it had the responsibility to stay with the prince at all times. However, the demon knew that it was impossible for the prince to leave the city with the demon in his energy field. For this reason, the prince knew that he would have to separate from the demon in a way that let the energy residue of the demon escape from the prince’s energy field, before being able to attempt an escape. This required that the prince be alone for an extended time. The demon knew that the prince wasn’t able to work as an apprentice, but the demon also knew that the prince should begin to develop the ability to make things, to ensure that this energy was part of the prince’s energy field. This meant that the demon had to get the participation of a craftsman who was willing to be at risk of instant death if the prince was discovered.
The demon knew that the prince wasn’t willing to risk his life with a craftsman, so the demon decided to arrange a new arrangement. The demon wanted the prince to pretend to be the apprentice of a local craftsman as long as the craftsman didn’t know where the prince lived. This was arranged, and the craftsman was carefully watched to ensure that he had no thoughts of betraying the prince. After a while, the demon grew confident in the craftsman, and was able to allow the craftsman and the prince to spend time together while the demon did other things.
The demon knew that it wouldn’t be able to escape from Jerusalem unless it was in the energy field of a human who wouldn’t be questioned as he or she left. This meant that the demon had to find a way to get a human family to allow the demon to leave with them in a way that didn’t attract attention. The demon knew that any family that would be willing to do such a thing would also be at risk of being killed for being extremists who were inclined to resist Roman rule. This meant that the demon had to find a family that was both patriotic and discreet. This was a difficult assignment, but the demon finally found a likely family who understood that the demon needed to escape Jerusalem to be able to accompany the last existing prince of the royal family. This family knew that it risked death if it did what it was being asked to do. The family consisted of a father and mother and three teenage sons. The demon thought that it would best to enter the energy field of the middle son. The demon knew that the sons would be less likely to be targets of inquiry than the father, but the demon also knew that if the father was found to be suspicious, the sons as well would be under suspicion.
This meant that the demon had to decide what to do if suddenly there was a threat of being discovered. The demon knew that if the father was not allowed to leave Jerusalem, the rest of the family would be required to continue without him. This meant that the family would have no way of protecting itself. This also meant that the family would be unable to work with any families that might be inclined to assist it, as long as the demon was with the family.

However, the demon believed that there was another way to ensure that the family was safe if the demon was discovered. The demon believed that the prince would be able to indicate that he was alive and safe, but the demon wouldn’t be able to risk reuniting with the prince, because if the demon erred in jumping from its location to that of the prince, there would be no energy for the demon to try again.
The demon was willing to attempt this escape, deciding that the demon wouldn’t behave like a royal demon. The demon would approach a family with the request that it be taken to a relative of its former human companion. The family was willing to do this, for the reason that family knew that the prince was going to escape in the same group as the family. This meant that the prince and the demon would be in the same general vicinity. The demon knew that it wouldn’t be able to work with the prince as long as there was a threat of Roman scrutiny. This meant that the demon would have to reveal itself to the family at some point, with the understanding that the family would benefit from helping the demon to reunite with the prince at a future time.
The family was uncertain about helping this demon, because the family suspected that the demon was more important that it acted. For this reason, the family was afraid that the demon would attract attention to the family in a way that made it impossible for the family to successfully leave. The demon knew that the family would be successful if it was simply calm, but the demon was unsure if the family was able to preserve a façade of simple desperate poverty. The family was hoping to relocate to another city far from Jerusalem. The prince was with a family that wasn’t going that far. The demon was under the impression that the family would agree to pause in the destination city of the craftsman with the prince while the demon arranged for the prince to attach himself to the family. This required the family to spend money that it didn’t have. So the demon knew that it would have to break its vow to never do harm, and actively support the family in a way that ensured its survival at the expense of other desperate humans. The demon was unable to do this well. However, the demon was able to obtain sufficient resource for the family to survive long enough for the prince to join the family as one of the sons.
This meant that the family now had an additional mouth to feed, and the prince was not a capable worker. The prince knew that he couldn’t have the demon in his energy field, but he was constantly near the middle son. This meant that the middle son became attached to the prince and was willing to help him learn to act like a normal boy. The prince gradually learned to do common tasks and the prince gradually became less conspicuous. This allowed the demon to believe that there was a good chance that the demon would be safe traveling in the energy field of the prince. However, the demon knew that there were still checkpoints where demons would be looking for escaping Hebrew demons. This meant that the demon needed to alert the family before any such checkpoint was reached.
The demon knew that, if such a checkpoint was reached without awareness, the result would be that the boy with the demon would be seized and interrogated. This would result in the entire family being exterminated, including the prince. For this reason, the demon hoped to find another family with which the demon could travel. However, this proved to be impossible, because there were no other families who were traveling in the same direction.
As a result, the demon and the family set out without sufficient protection, risking discovery if the demon was forced to defend the family against attacking bandits. The demon wasn’t able to fully protect the family. One of the sons was killed by a bandit, because the demon was too slow in disabling the bandits as they attacked. There were seven bandits and the demon was able to disable six of them as the seventh charged into the midst of the family and killed the eldest son. This resulted in the father being extremely bitter toward the demon, because the demon had assured the father that his sons would safe from bandits with the demon. The demon knew that the father was no longer reliable, and so the demon chose to find a way to escape with the prince into another family.
The demon was uncertain about whether it should continue with the family to a city, or whether the demon should go with the prince alone in the country. The demon finally decided to continue with the family for the time being, reasoning that the family would safer in the demon’s company. The demon knew that the family wouldn’t be able to survive if bandits attacked and the demon was gone. So the demon risked the wrathful attitude of the father for the sake of preserving the family long enough to get it to a city.
The demon was aware that the father knew the identity of the prince, and the demon was also aware that the father knew that the demon was not what the demon pretended to be. The father eventually realized that the demon was the companion of the prince. This meant that the attitude of the father changed. The father realized that the demon was risking its own existence to protect the prince, and that the demon could have easily left the prince and found safety back in the city. The family knew that it wasn’t able to support the prince, because it had lost the income from the work of the eldest son. This meant that the prince would have to find a new family. This also meant that the prince would have to be aware that the demon was near the prince. The demon had deliberately hidden itself from the awareness of the prince by staying away from the middle son when the middle son was near the prince. The middle son never talked of the demon, because it was understood among people at that time that they should never admit having a demon companion. This helped the demon preserve the secret of its proximity to the prince. However, the prince often wondered what had happened to the demon, and the demon risked one night talking to the prince from a distance. The demon said that it was passing by this area, which was true, because the family was also passing by this area. This meant that the demon was able to assure the prince that it still existed and was aware of the prince’s existence, even though the demon wasn’t able to do anything to communicate with the prince.
The demon knew that the prince wasn’t aware that the middle son was the human companion of the demon. However, the prince knew that the middle son had grown attached to the prince and wanted to be the prince’s friend. The prince was afraid that it was improper to be a friend of the son of a poor family, and the prince was reserved around the middle son. This meant that the middle son was always trying to get the prince to make a gesture of approval or friendship. However, the middle son wasn’t overly demanding in this regard. This meant that the two of them were tolerable companions. However, the prince was getting tired of maintaining this charade, and wanted to be able to travel as a member of a better family. This meant that the prince was inclined to be unhappy with the presence of the middle son when the prince was feeling irritable about his humble situation. The prince wasn’t able to be alone with his thoughts, because the mother of the family was constantly watching him to make sure that he was all right. This meant that the prince had the additional burden of bearing the supportive intrusion of the mother’s attention.
The prince wanted to be away from this family, but he was trapped with them and realized that he owed his life to them. He knew that if they had stayed in the city, the eldest son wouldn’t have died. He also knew that they would have been inclined to stay in the city if it hadn’t been for the prince being with them. This meant that the prince had an obligation to the family, and the prince was able to sustain the feeling that he needed to be cooperative and respectful.
However, the prince also wanted the family to be properly respectful to him. But this meant breaking out of the role that he was playing, and the prince knew that this would have been very dangerous. But the family also knew that it might never be able to receive any reward for protecting the prince. So the family decided to work with the farmer in a way that ensured that the prince would be taken care of. The farmer knew that the prince was not a good worker, but the farmer was satisfied with the work of the others. The farmer knew that the prince wasn’t a member of the family, because he didn’t look like the others. The farmer didn’t suspect that the prince was a member of the royal family of Judea, but the farmer discovered that the family was Hebrew. The farmer knew that this family was willing to work hard, so the farmer didn’t want to say anything. The farmer wanted to make sure that the family stayed with the farmer, but the farmer suspected that the family wanted to move away. So the farmer withheld any payment except for food, until the family was able to work for a year. This meant that the family was long overdue, because word had been sent to friends in the faraway city that the family was on its way.
After a year, the farmer gave the family enough money to be able to continue on their journey, but not enough to reach their destination. The family knew that it would have to find work with another farmer before they arrived at the city. They knew that they would be fortunate if no bandits attacked them. At this point, the family was confident that they would be able to work their way along the route, without having any serious problems. However, the father still grieved for his eldest son. This meant that the demon was uncomfortable. The demon wasn’t in a hurry to get to the faraway city, because it didn’t have any reason to believe that people there would be able to help a prince of a nation that had been destroyed. This meant that the demon knew that the prince’s education in common pursuits was useful. The demon hoped that there would be some way for the prince to establish himself as a locally prominent man. But the demon didn’t expect the prince to become anyone significant. The prince was a good-natured young man and didn’t have any great ambition. So the demon kept in mind the hope that the prince would find a way to establish a bloodline that would continue the line of the ancient kings of Israel.
The prince was unable to be acknowledged, but the prince never forgot his royal birth. He knew that he was from the bloodline of kings, and assumed a regal attitude without thinking about it. This was dangerous, and the demon hoped that the prince wouldn’t be discovered because of his unconscious habit. The prince knew that he should hide his way of acting, but he also knew that he had a privilege in regard to his interaction with the middle son. The demon worried that the middle son would eventually grow resentful. However, the middle son was attached to the prince, and was content to be his inferior. The middle son had been the inferior of his elder brother, so he was accustomed to playing this role. However, the prince, was not familiar with having a younger brother, and didn’t know how to act in a way that endeared himself. For this reason, the middle son was slowly growing distant from the prince. This meant that the younger son wasn’t as far from the demon most of the time. For this reason, the demon was able to monitor the interaction of the family.
[This part written on 10/14] Unbeknownst to the demon, the father of the family had decided to prevent the prince from continuing with the family. The father had to find a way to leave behind his grief at the loss of his eldest son. When the demon eventually discovered this, it knew that it would have to leave the family too. However, the demon wanted the father to agree that the demon had done many things for the benefit of the family. The father was reluctant to admit this. The father wanted the demon to leave, but the father was also worried about meeting bandits without the demon’s assistance. The father knew that his thinking was irrational, but the father was unable to control his emotions. The demon decided to wait and leave the family as soon as the family was safe.
The demon wanted the prince to be aware of the demon’s presence, but the prince had to be kept ignorant, so he would continue learning how to be a common person. The demon knew that this was the likely future of the prince, to be married to a common person without aristocratic connections. The demon understood that its purpose was to ensure that the bloodline of the prince survived. The demon also understood that the prince wasn’t able to have any children until he left his religion. This meant that the demon would have to counsel the prince as the prince went through the process of questioning and discarding learned beliefs. The demon knew that the prince wouldn’t have any problem accepting a new religion when the prince was ready to marry. However, the prince would be better able to work through this process if he had already begun thinking about it. This meant that the prince would have to be exposed to questions about his current existence in relation to his former culture. The demon wanted to begin this process as soon as possible.

This meant that the demon wanted to have access to the prince while the prince was talking to the middle son. The demon had avoided this up to now, but the demon decided that the middle son could potentially give the prince ideas that would help the prince’s own understanding of his situation. The demon suggested to the middle son that he tell the prince that the religion of the Hebrews was dead. The prince responded by saying that there was still a demon alive who would be able to continue the Hebrew religion. The prince knew that he was speaking out of wishful hope, and didn’t really believe that the demon was still alive. The demon was under the impression that the prince would believe that he wouldn’t have to work anymore if the demon revealed itself to the prince. For that reason, the demon continued avoiding the middle son when the middle son was near the prince.
The demon knew that, eventually, the middle son would be an adult and ready to marry. The demon knew that, at that time, the demon would have to be away from the middle son. This meant that the demon would have to find a way to return to the prince. The demon wanted the prince and the family to get as close as possible to the faraway city before the demon left the family and returned to the prince. However, the demon knew that the prince wouldn’t want to leave the family, because he simply had no one else. The prince already depended on the mother of the family for emotional support. The prince knew that the father hated the prince because his eldest son had been killed. That would have never happened if the family hadn’t agreed to accept the prince and travel toward the faraway city.
The demon knew that the prince wouldn’t have any problem with the family, because the father was a good man who understood how to constrain his emotional reactions. However, the father didn’t know that the prince was aware of how the father felt. The prince had been trained in how to detect the feelings of others, as part of his royal education. This meant that the prince was aware of the father’s negative emotions toward the prince. The demon wanted the prince to have the opportunity to leave the family, but the demon knew that it was not going to be possible until there was another situation that demanded a difficult choice.
[This part written before 10/14] After they arrived in the city, the family wasn’t able to find any friendly helpers. They had limited money, and they knew that they needed to send a message to the faraway city. The family wasn’t able to find a messenger who was willing to take a message for the pay that they could offer. So the family didn’t send a message. The family instead decided to find work and continue to work their way to the faraway city. The family knew that it wasn’t under any suspicion, but the family also knew that any discrepancy in their story would arouse suspicion. So the family decided to work in a workplace that had various different families from different areas, so they wouldn’t be conspicuous. The family knew that, if they weren’t able to stay undercover, they would be probed and interrogated. The family knew that they needed to maintain absolute silence about their origin. This meant that they weren’t inclined to be sociable with other families. This aroused suspicion. The family, despite their intentions, had caused what they had tried to avoid. This meant that the family needed to leave quickly, without getting paid. This meant that they had very little money. Afterwards, they realized that they could have resisted the questions because they weren’t under suspicion for any crime. But they didn’t want to have any problems with anyone. So the family continued toward the faraway city, without the hope of getting very far. The family knew that they would have to look for another farm.
They wanted to find another farm that was similar to the one where they had stayed for a year. But the farmers in this area had a different method of growing food, and the family wasn’t experienced in this method. So the family wasn’t able to find work. However, the family knew that they wouldn’t starve, because people were inclined to be friendly and helpful. The family continued traveling and looking for work. Finally, a farmer decided to work with the family even though they didn’t know the method of farming. This farmer agreed to pay the family half of what they would otherwise receive for one year’s work. The family worked hard and learned how to farm in the way that the farmer instructed. The farmer knew that the family wouldn’t have enough money to get to their destination, but the farmer also knew that the family wouldn’t starve, because now the family knew how to work in a way that was useful to the local farmers.
The family continued toward the faraway city. By now, the friends of the family didn’t expect them to arrive. There was no knowledge of what had happened to the prince. There were no people who expected the prince to be alive, and no people who expected any Hebrew prince to have survived. At this point, the demon was the only one who knew the identity of the prince. However, the demon knew that there was another prince who was still alive. At least, the prince had been alive when the demon left Jerusalem. The demon knew that the other prince intended to go to a city that wasn’t far from the destination of the family. This meant that the family could be persuaded to go to this city. However, the family was reluctant to do this, because they knew that the demon had led them into a difficult life, and they had no confidence in the ability of the demon. For this reason, the family decided to work their way toward their original destination, without considering that the demon would be able to leave with the prince.
The family didn’t expect the prince to be able to survive on his own. However, the prince had been gradually learning to become proficient at doing farm work. The demon suspected that the prince would be able to work on his own, finding work more easily than the family could together. The demon knew that, if it left with the prince, the family would be suspicious of the demon’s motives. The family would assume that the demon had intended to trick them. However, the demon didn’t have to do this, because the family suddenly was able to find work that included the prince, without needing to explain how this outsider (the prince, with a different appearance) had come to be with them.
The family was employed in a farm were there were many workers from different areas. For this reason, the workers were inclined to accept groups that came together without expecting them to be families. This meant that the family and the prince were able to work together without having to explain how they came to be together.
However, the family was uncertain of whether they should continue toward the city or simply stay on the farm, where there was plenty of work and it was safe. The family knew that, by this time, nobody would be expecting them, and their arrival would be a burden on their friends. For this reason, the family decided to stay on the farm, and the demon decided to take its chances with the prince. This meant that the demon entered the prince once again. The prince was startled and astonished to find out that the demon had been with the prince all along. The prince knew that the demon hadn’t abandoned him. The demon was overjoyed to be reunited with the prince. The demon knew that it had a responsibility and the demon also knew that the prince wouldn’t be able to survive on his own. The prince simply didn’t know enough of farm work. However, the demon suspected that the prince would be able to do enough work if the demon was able to help him. The demon had learned much about farm work by being in the company of the middle son. So the demon guided the prince as he found employment on a farm. The prince waited until he was paid, and then left the farm. The prince was able to move more quickly without being part of a family, and the prince was able to find friendly people who helped him, even when they didn’t have work for him.
In this manner, the prince worked his way to the faraway city where the other prince had planned to go. The demon didn’t know who in the city would be able to help the prince, but the demon figured that the Hebrew community would be the logical place to go. So the demon went to the Hebrew community without the prince and investigated. The demon knew that the prince wouldn’t be able to announce his identity without arousing suspicion. For this reason, the demon decided to look for demons who were associated with the Hebrew community. The demon found that this community had an old demon who was associated with the community. This meant that the community was well-established. Because of this, the demon expected the old demon to welcome the demon. However, the old demon assumed that the presence of the prince would be dangerous, and therefore the old demon discouraged the demon from bringing the prince into the community.
The old demon suggested that the demon decide where to bring the prince without any knowledge of Hebrew. [A place where Hebrews were unknown] The prince wasn’t encouraged to go out alone without any hope being with his people. However, the prince realized that there wouldn’t be any chance of becoming a prince again, so the prince knew that he wouldn’t have any way to reclaim his social position. The prince had been accustomed to working, so he would be able to disguise his noble birth. However, the prince wouldn’t be able to disguise his Hebrew origin, so it was important that the prince choose a location where Hebrews were unknown.
[continued 10/14] The prince wasn’t inclined to make a choice, so the demon simply had to move with the prince through the countryside, hoping to find a place where the demon felt that the prince’s ethnic background would be unrecognized. The demon knew that Hebrews had migrated throughout the Roman Empire, so there would not be a likely safe place for the prince within the empire. The demon knew that the prince wouldn’t have any problem learning a new language, but there might be a problem getting to a place where a new language was spoken. For this reason, the demon wanted the prince to think of a place, so the prince would have a role in the decision of what language to learn.
The demon gave up trying to get the prince to choose a place, and eventually chose to search for a location without knowing who lived there. The demon knew that taking a ship would be the easiest way for the prince to get to the edge of the Roman Empire. The demon wanted the prince to be able to work on a ship, but the demon knew that this was unlikely. So the prince had to save money to take a journey on a ship. The demon expected that there wouldn’t be any problem with the prince’s decision to work until it was time to go on the ship. This would enable the prince to have a little bit of money when he left the ship. The demon knew that, after leaving the ship, the prince would have to settle in the area where he found himself. The demon knew that the prince wouldn’t have any problem finding a wife, because he was handsome and well-mannered. The demon expected that the prince would have sons, to continue the bloodline. The demon knew that it was responsible to ensure that the prince had sons who survived. For this reason, the demon knew that it wouldn’t be able to leave the prince for many years. The demon expected that the prince would be a worthy member of his new community, and the demon expected that the prince wouldn’t mind living such a life.
But the prince hadn’t given up his dream of being recognized as a member of a royal family. The prince knew that he was owed deference from common men, and the prince had an attitude that made others angry if he showed it. This meant that the prince always had to be careful about expressing his true feelings. However, the prince understood that, in order to properly express this attitude, he had to achieve a station in his community that enabled him to expect respect from everyone else. This was the prince’s new ambition, to find a community where he could rise into a position of respect.
The demon gave the prince some advice: Do not let anyone know of your background, because you will be sought out and killed. The demon knew that the prince wanted to tell someone about who he really was. But the demon knew that doing so would be fatal. So the prince was unable to say where he was really from. This bothered the prince every time someone asked him about his origin. But eventually the prince was able to simply repeat the same story that he had repeated many times before, without thinking about it. And this led the demon to think that it was now time for the prince to take a journey across the sea.
[Oct. 21, 2016 — 3:10 pm] The voyage across the sea was not uneventful. The prince was unable to be around common people whose behavior was inappropriate. He was unable to respond in a manner that was inclined to divert suspicion. For this reason, the prince was looked on with suspicion by the fellow travelers and the crew of the ship. The prince had no way of hiding behind the company of a friend. He had to simply act as if he was the son of a merchant who was called overseas on behalf of his father. The prince was able to do this well enough, and the prince knew that he wouldn’t be in any danger as soon as he finished the voyage.
After arriving overseas, the prince wasn’t able to perform as well as he did on the ship. The prince understood that he wasn’t able to present himself as the son of a merchant. He knew that he would have to develop a new identity and would have to present a new story depending on what situation he found himself in. The prince knew that he wasn’t able to make up a story immediately, so the demon had the outline of a story ready. The demon told the prince to pretend that he was a son of a merchant who had been blown off course and stranded. This would enable the demon to think of details as soon as it was necessary for the demon to do so. The prince didn’t want to use this story, because it implied that the prince would be seeking a way to return overseas. However, the demon assumed that the prince would be able to pretend to change his mind. The demon knew that the prince wasn’t at risk of being harmed as long as his identity remained secret. But the demon knew that the prince wasn’t able to protect his identity if he was questioned closely. For this reason, the demon cautioned the prince to be very careful not to draw attention to himself.
The demon wasn’t in any hurry to find a way for the prince to establish himself. The demon thought that the prince would be able to work on a farm. However, the method of farming in this area was different from what the prince was used to. For that reason, the prince was unable to find a farming job when he first arrived. However, the prince knew that eventually he would be able to find a job as long as he didn’t mind receiving little pay. This is what happened, and the prince began to learn the way of farming. As the prince learned, he began to develop the ability to speak the local language. This had the effect of helping the prince to meet local families. And the prince was young, single and handsome, and attractive daughters of local farmers began to think that maybe he would be a suitable husband. However, the prince hoped to find a wife in the town, with the ability to keep in touch with the outside world. The prince had a wandering mind, and was unwilling to settle down as an isolated farmer. He wanted to be able to hear news about his people and his former country. The prince knew that, if he did this, he would eventually betray his identity. So he reluctantly began to think of marrying a local woman and becoming a part of a local family.
The prince eventually chose a wife and married a farmer’s daughter. The prince knew that he wouldn’t ever rise above the status of a simple farmer. He knew that he wouldn’t be able to work in the town or have a role in the government. He would simply be inconspicuous. This assured that he would live and have sons. The prince knew that this was his essential task in life. He knew that it was his duty to preserve the bloodline of the House of David. This meant that the prince had to simply give up any pretention of being someone important. The demon suspected that the sons and grandsons of the prince would rise up to positions of importance. But the demon suspected that the demon would have to leave the family, because the demon knew that it would be under suspicion as soon as anyone realized that the demon was in the energy field of the prince.
For that reason, the demon knew that it would have to leave the prince and hope that the prince was going to be all right. However, the demon never found out what happened to the prince. The demon never knew if the prince had sons and grandsons. The demon was never able to return to this area, and the demon never had the ability to ask others about the status of the family into which the prince had married. For this reason, the demon has never been able to verify if the prince’s bloodline continues. This is something that the demon has wondered over the centuries.
APPRENTICE AND PRIEST
(Oct. 22, 2016 — 8:50 a.m.) Ancient Demon will talk about what happened after Ancient Demon brought the prince to a new land. Ancient Demon knew that the prince wouldn’t be able to survive unless he was away from any possible connection with his Hebrew past. Ancient Demon knew that, if a new demon was discovered in the area at the same time that the prince was settling into the area, the two would be easily connected. For this reason, Ancient Demon left this area. Ancient Demon entered the energy field of a sailor who accepted Ancient Demon’s presence for the voyage, which took them to Italy. Ancient Demon knew that it would have to find a temple in Italy that would accept an experienced demon. Ancient Demon knew that some temples were receptive to foreign demons, while others were strict about only promoting demons from within. Ancient Demon knew that some temples wouldn’t have any problem with a demon from a temple from outside the Roman Empire, but the Hebrew temple was known to be hostile to the Roman cults, and this would make it difficult for Ancient Demon to find a temple that was appropriate.
Ancient Demon was also open to the possibility of becoming the personal demon of a human who was involved with temple activities. It would be easier to find a willing human than to find a willing temple. Ancient Demon knew that, although it couldn’t expect to find a human companion who was a temple leader, it could find a companion who would become a temple leader with Ancient Demon’s assistance. Ancient Demon learned that there were two temples that needed more demons, because of the increased number of worshippers. This meant that demons from outside Rome were interested in working in these temples. Ancient Demon also knew that, because of its origin, Ancient Demon would have a difficult time convincing any temple to accept Ancient Demon. So Ancient Demon began looking for humans who were associated with these temples.
Ancient Demon found a young human who was being trained to be a temple official. This young human didn’t have a demon companion. Ancient Demon approached this human and offered to be his demon companion, with the understanding that Ancient Demon’s goal was to eventually become one of the temple demons. Ancient Demon knew that it would have to ensure that this human became a leader in the temple, and Ancient Demon wouldn’t have a chance to become a temple demon until after the human’s death. Ancient Demon had no problem thinking in that time span. Ancient Demon knew that humans are inclined to think in terms of years, while demons can easily think in terms of decades. Ancient Demon knew that eventually the human would grow to trust Ancient Demon and this trust would be beneficial when the decision was made to accept Ancient Demon as a temple demon.
Ancient Demon was a trustworthy demon for this human, who eventually rose to become the leader of the humans in this temple. This human knew that his demon companion was a big part of the reason why he was successful. Ancient Demon helped this human to be agreeable with other humans and to be efficient in his dealings with worshippers. Ancient Demon helped this human to understand the needs of the temple demons, who eventually began to notice Ancient Demon. Ancient Demon realized that the temple demons were already considering the possibility of making Ancient Demon a temple demon, well before the death of the human leader. Ancient Demon knew that it had promised to be the demon companion of the human leader, and it informed the temple demons that it would be pleased to accept a position as a temple demon if this was offered after the death of the human leader. The temple demons agreed to consider this possibility, but it was uncertain whether the temple would need another demon at the time of the leader’s death.
Ancient Demon was not concerned about what would happen, because Ancient Demon was certain that it could become the demon companion of another young temple apprentice if necessary. The demon in charge of the temple demons was inclined to promote Ancient Demon when the human leader died. But there were too many temple demons at that time. Ancient Demon suspected that this situation would continue, because at this time this particular temple was not receiving as many worshippers as before. For this reason, Ancient Demon became the demon companion of another human apprentice.

This temple apprentice was the third son of a wealthy family. He had chosen to enter the temple because he had no hope of having an estate or a career. This meant that he would be respected but have little power, and so entering the temple was a way to have a better position in life. The temple apprentice knew that Ancient Demon was a foreign demon, but the temple apprentice didn’t know where Ancient Demon came from. The temple apprentice didn’t want to ask probing questions, and knew that Ancient Demon had been the demon companion of the previous leader. For this reason, the temple apprentice accepted Ancient Demon as his demon companion without knowing Ancient Demon’s origin. The temple apprentice wasn’t able to work without being reminded constantly by his new demon companion. The temple apprentice was not inclined to work hard, because he had always assumed that he would live a life of comfort. After he entered the temple, the apprentice realized that being successful in a temple meant regularly working, and the temple apprentice was reluctant to devote himself to consistent effort. For this reason, the temple apprentice was not favored for advancement in the temple hierarchy.
The temple apprentice wasn’t able to resist the temptation to work on another project [Ancient Demon clarified: chariot racing] apart from his duties at the temple. This project involved being away from the temple at specific times. This was not hard to arrange, until the temple apprentice received a long-awaited promotion. Now the temple apprentice was full member of order of the temple priests. The temple priest had to decide how to manage his two commitments. The priest knew that he wouldn’t be able to continue with his other commitment unless he was given special dispensation. The priest approached the temple leader and explained his situation. The leader was angry to learn that the priest had been involved with this outside activity, and forbade the priest from having anything further to do with this activity. The priest reluctantly withdrew from the activity. However, his companions in this activity didn’t accept that the priest couldn’t be involved, and pressured the priest to continue surreptitiously.
The priest was unwilling to reject his companions, and the priest believed that he would be able to participate in a way that was informal. The priest knew that, if his superior discovered his activity, the superior would punish him. The priest didn’t want to disappoint his friends, but he knew that he risked his position if he disobeyed his superior. So the priest reluctantly gave up his interest.
Afterwards, he knew that he had made a fundamental break with his past. The priest now knew that he would be dedicated to the service of the temple. The priest knew that he wouldn’t have enough time to dedicate to outside activities anymore. He accepted his new position and began to work harder on being a good temple official.
The priest wanted to have a family, but priests were forbidden to marry, although sometimes priests had concubines who had children. This was an option that the priest wanted to choose, but he was afraid that it would be perceived as scandalous by his aristocratic family. For that reason, he decided not to take a concubine. After this decision, the priest became depressed. He realized that he wasn’t well suited for a temple life. He was unable to work every day for the whole day, as was expected of temple officials. He knew that, if he left the temple, he would be disgraced, so the priest continued to do his duties without enthusiasm. The priest knew that he would eventually rise in level and perhaps become the leader of the temple, because of his aristocratic background. He knew that, if he rose to the top of the temple hierarchy, he would have opportunities to interact with people of his own social class outside the temple. He worked toward this goal, without being enthusiastic about the purpose of the temple. The priest wanted to make sure that he didn’t have to focus on problems inside the temple, including bickering among the priests or conflicts among the demons. [Ancient Demon explains: Demons often compete for the worship energy of favored humans.] The priest wanted to do his duties in a routine way and leave problems for others to handle.
This meant that the priest wasn’t well-integrated into the temple community. He didn’t have a good awareness of the personalities of his fellow priests. [Ancient Demon: There were seven or eight of them.] After the priest decided to work his way toward the top of the hierarchy, he realized that he would have to take into account the ambitions of other priests. He understood that other priests had been thinking of this goal for many years. The priest thought that he had an advantage because of his aristocratic birth, but two of the other priests also were from well-born families. This meant that the priest would have to win over the others [defeat them], and to encourage the other priests to support his goal.
The priest wanted to make a new plan to encourage more worshippers to attend the [monthly] temple service. However, there was a problem, because another temple also had a monthly service on the same day. The priest knew that the day of service couldn’t be changed. The priest also knew that he wouldn’t be able to get the other temple to change its service day. So the priest wanted to try to make an arrangement with the other temple to have services at different times, allowing people to attend both services if they wanted to. This idea was well received by the other temple, but the temples had trouble agreeing about which temple would have the service in the morning. Each temple wanted to have the morning service. This led the priest to suggest a compromise: the temples would alternate their services, switching between morning and afternoon each month. This led the priest to be well-regarded among his fellow priests, and helped the priest to ensure that he would eventually become the head priest.
Although there wasn’t any reason for the priest to force himself on the temple, he thought it was a good idea to make an effort to ensure that the other temple priests enjoyed his company. So the priest began to socialize with the other priests when opportunities arose. This led the priest to become more popular, and this also helped the priest to become the head priest.
After the priest became the head priest, he was not able to spend much time socializing with other aristocrats outside the temple. He had duties that took up most of his time. This was no longer a burden for him, as his priorities had changed through the years. The priest had conformed himself to his environment. And is the story of the priest.
And now Ancient Demon will present its own involvement with the priest. The demon realized that, when the apprentice priest accepted Ancient Demon as its personal companion, the apprentice knew that its demon companion would help him become the head priest in time, if the priest followed the demon’s advice. The demon was aware that the priest had little interest in doing his work, but the demon suspected that the priest could be motivated to work hard, if the demon had enough time and patience. The demon wanted the priest to be able to work as a priest should, and the priest had to overcome his continuing interest in the life outside the temple. The priest had to give up his former friends in order to be a proper head priest. This meant that the demon had to find ways to encourage the priest to interact with people inside the temple, including worshippers and his fellow priests. The demon never failed to look for opportunities for the priest to interact with others, so as to help ensure that the priest was well-liked in the temple. The priest had a pleasant personality, and had no problem socializing with others if he was interested in doing so. But the priest was constantly focused on doing his activity outside the temple, and this distracted him and held him back from advancing. The demon didn’t want to help the priest with his racing activity, but the priest often asked the demon to waste time doing things that helped the priest. The demon would have rather done things that were useful for the advancement of the priest. This meant that the demon wanted the priest to be successful, but the demon also wanted to ensure that it had a good relationship with the priest. So the demon did things that it would have rather avoided. This required the demon to interact with Italian aristocrats. This interaction led the demon to get to know more about the city. This was useful, as the demon had little knowledge of Roman customs and behavior. The demon thought that the Romans and their fellow Italians were much different from the Hebrews. The Hebrews had very strict rules, and the Romans had a very different idea of what was right or acceptable. The demon was not inclined to want to be in this culture, but the demon knew that this was necessary if the demon was to fulfill its goal of finding a way to seek information about the prince.
The demon knew that, if it rose in the hierarchy of temple demons, it would eventually be able to contact a Roman who would be willing to obtain information about the prince. The demon wanted to do this without waiting for advancement, because the demon knew that the prince was already very old. The demon wanted the prince to remember the demon and the demon hoped that the prince would be able to assure the demon that the bloodline continued. The demon wanted to be able to rest, leaving behind the prince and his family, with the knowledge that there were descendants. But the demon knew that it didn’t have the resources to do this. The demon knew that it wouldn’t be able to make inquiries without attracting attention. For this reason, the demon wanted to ensure that the prince was healthy without doing anything that would risk his well-being. The demon imagined appearing in the energy field of the prince. This would have the effect of reminding the prince of who he had been. The demon knew that this wouldn’t be a good idea. The demon wanted the prince to simply forget about the demon. The demon wanted the prince to think that he had to commit himself completely to his new life, without being reminded of his origin, which could be potentially fatal to him and his family. So the demon reluctantly gave up the idea of visiting the prince. The demon wanted to be aware of the prince’s well-being, without the prince knowing that the demon was interested.
(Jan. 7, 2017) Ancient Demon will begin a story about the prince, after Ancient Demon left. Ancient Demon eventually learned that the prince had married and had had three children. The prince had had a normal life as a respected member of a farming community. The prince knew that he was from a foreign land, and worked hard to be accepted. He was reasonably successful. His children grew up with children from the community, and married within the community. The prince tried to ensure that his children had education, because the prince knew that education opened doors and the prince knew that education was essential for the future. The prince wanted his children to internalize this focus on education, and the prince made sure that his daughters, as well as his son, were educated. This was unusual, but it made the daughters capable of assisting their husbands in ways that the daughters of other community members weren’t. This ensured that the prince’s family was well-respected and able to have many descendants in the community. The demon learned that the son of the prince had two sons. The demon believed that the prince wasn’t a very good plantation manager, but the prince had prospered. The demon supposed that this was because of his education, which allowed him to rise to a leading role in the community. The demon wanted the prince to be able to remember the demon, but the prince knew that the demon had left him. The prince knew that the demon knew that the prince had to forget about his previous life. The demon wanted the prince to be happy and successful, but the demon knew that the relationship had to be sacrificed in order for that to be possible. This is the ongoing memory of the demon, how it honored its responsibility by abandoning the prince. The demon has this memory, and hopes one day to redeem its purpose, by finding a descendant of the prince who is worthy to be a new leader of the House of Israel. The demon knows that the prince wouldn’t be surprised if this happened, because the demon impressed on the prince the importance of having a son and continuing the bloodline. The demon knows that the prince will be reincarnating within the family until this mission has been completed. The demon doesn’t know if it will be able to recognize the prince, but the demon believes that, when it finds the correct family, it will be able to sense the character of the prince. This is all that the demon will say about the prince of the House of Israel.
THE FIRST CRUSADE
(Jan. 7, 2017 — 10:25 a.m.) Ancient Demon will begin a new story. Ancient Demon was a demon of the House of Israel. This is perhaps not the correct way to refer to the Hebrew royal family, but it was referred to in that way in the Middle Ages. Ancient Demon knew, because it was a Catholic demon, that the House of Israel had a branch that existed in southern France. Ancient Demon knew, because this branch existed, it was important for a member of this house to be a leader of the First Crusade. Ancient Demon knew, when the First Crusade was established, there would be an opportunity for Ancient Demon to be involved. Ancient Demon wanted to be able to return to Israel. Ancient Demon knew that it wouldn’t be able to return, unless it was the demon companion of a cleric who participated in the crusade. Ancient Demon was not hopeful. It was rare for a demon to be the personal demon of a cleric who wasn’t a bishop. Ancient Demon knew that, because the Crusade was in territories that were unfamiliar to the crusaders, it might be helpful for Ancient Demon to participate. However, Ancient Demon knew that it had been so long since Ancient Demon had been in this part of the world, that it might not be helpful. So Ancient Demon did not press its inquiry about participating in the Crusade. Ancient Demon simply made it known that it would be willing to go, and waited to see if it would be chosen.
Ancient Demon knew that, if it went to the Middle East, it would be very dangerous. Ancient Demon knew that its human companion could die at any time, of disease or being attacked. Ancient Demon also knew that it would not be able to easily find human companions in the Middle East, because it would quickly be identified as a demon associate of the invading Crusaders. This meant that Ancient Demon would have to depend on soldiers if its cleric companion died during the crusade. Ancient Demon accepted this risk, and began thinking about how it would act if it returned to Jerusalem. Ancient Demon knew that the temple had been completely destroyed. Ancient Demon knew that, because of this, there was nothing left for Ancient Demon to visit. Ancient Demon knew that, because all of the inhabitants of Jerusalem had been killed, there wouldn’t be any descendants of the Hebrews in Jerusalem, unless they had come there afterward. Ancient Demon suspected that there were indeed Hebrews in Jerusalem, but Ancient Demon believed that they would be a small number. Ancient Demon knew that Jerusalem was a natural fortress, so Ancient Demon didn’t doubt that there would be people there, willing to defend the city against the crusaders. Ancient Demon wanted to believe that it wouldn’t be difficult for the crusaders to capture Jerusalem, but Ancient Demon knew very well how strong natural defense of the place was. Ancient Demon wanted to believe that, because Jerusalem wasn’t a good location for farming, that there would be few people around the city. However, Ancient Demon thought that the city’s importance would bring in trade. So Ancient Demon thought that it wouldn’t be difficult for Ancient Demon to find foreigners in Jerusalem if Ancient Demon was able to get there and then its human companion died.
Ancient Demon didn’t expect to be chosen. But Ancient Demon knew that this was a risky proposition, and Ancient Demon also knew that it was important for a high-level demon to participate. Ancient Demon was of the opinion that it wouldn’t be possible for Ancient Demon to be chosen unless no other high-level demon was interested. And this is exactly what happened. Ancient Demon was the only high-level Catholic demon who volunteered to accompany the crusaders to the Holy Land.
Ancient Demon wanted to be able to have a new interaction with a human companion. Ancient Demon wanted its human companion for the duration of the crusade to be able to accept that Ancient Demon had an autonomous interest in ascertaining the nature of the local demons. This would require that Ancient Demon leave its human companion and interact with local people. Ancient Demon hoped that its human companion would accept this. Ancient Demon was certain that the human companion whom its demon superiors chose was chosen with this idea in mind. Ancient Demon knew that its human companion accepted that Ancient Demon would be researching independently, so that the Catholic demons would have a better understanding of the demons of the area and their relationship to the local humans.
Ancient Demon wanted to be able to do this research all the way from Rome to Israel, but its human companion insisted that Ancient Demon stay with the human companion until the Crusade arrived in Israel. For this reason, Ancient Demon missed the opportunity to find out about demons and humans in the area to the north. This may not have been a significant loss, but Ancient Demon always wondered what it might have found if it had been allowed to interact with the demons in the newly-conquered areas.
When the Crusade arrived in Jerusalem, the crusaders killed most of the people in the city. Ancient Demon realized that, because of this, there was very little chance of Ancient Demon finding a foreigner if it was necessary to leave the Crusade. Ancient Demon was of the opinion that its human companion was likely to survive the crusade, so Ancient Demon wasn’t too concerned. However, Ancient Demon always liked to think of potential problems and their potential solutions. Ancient Demon thought that, when it was going out to compare its experiences with those of the local demons, it would be able to look for a foreigner who might be able to be Ancient Demon’s companion if necessary. Ancient Demon didn’t find any such foreigner, but the act of searching brought Ancient Demon into contact with a demon. This demon knew that Ancient Demon was with the Crusaders. This demon recognized that Ancient Demon was older than the Catholic Church, and guessed that Ancient Demon came from the general area of the Holy Land. Ancient Demon wanted the demon to expect Ancient Demon to ask the demon to join the Catholic demons. This was because Ancient Demon wanted the demon to be willing to think of the possible way for Ancient Demon to escape if necessary. The demon wasn’t interested in joining the Catholic demons at first. The demon was certain that it had a good position, as the demon companion of a high-level Muslim cleric. However, the human companion was dispossessed of his position and his mosque was seized and converted into a church. At this point, the demon wanted Ancient Demon to know that it would be willing to consider working with the Catholic Church. The demon hoped that Ancient Demon had the authority to establish a local demon. But Ancient Demon knew that it didn’t have any such authority. Ancient Demon knew, if it did what the local demon wanted, that the demons in Rome would be upset. Ancient Demon decided to insist that the demon go to Rome and discuss the possibility. This made the demon think of how it would consider going to Rome, and Ancient Demon was able to find connections that it could have used if necessary. But Ancient Demon never had the need.
Ancient Demon was in the Holy Land for a year, and then its cleric companion was called back to Rome. Ancient Demon knew that, because its cleric companion had survived, that Ancient Demon wouldn’t have any trouble making it back to Rome. However, Ancient Demon also knew that the cleric wasn’t happy with Ancient Demon. The cleric had repeatedly insisted that Ancient Demon stay with the cleric, and Ancient Demon had repeatedly left the cleric to communicate with local demons. The cleric saw Ancient Demon’s behavior as insubordinate, and the cleric complained about this when they arrived back in Rome. This meant that Ancient Demon’s demon superiors weren’t happy with Ancient Demon. The demons had to maintain good relations with the human hierarchy at all costs. The demons knew that, because the human hierarchy had goals and doctrines that the demons didn’t embrace, the demons were always suspect. The demons knew that the only way to avoid overly suspicious questions was to make sure that the humans were satisfied with the demons’ service. And this had been threatened by Ancient Demon.
Ancient Demon wanted to insist that it had done what had been agreed, but Ancient Demon knew that this wasn’t the real problem. The problem was that the cleric was concerned about Ancient Demon being away from the cleric and the cleric didn’t know what Ancient Demon was doing. For this reason, AD knew that it wouldn’t be allow to go on another trip. And this is why Uxmodiel was chosen to go to Mexico, and Ancient Demon wasn’t even considered. This is all that Ancient Demon will say now.
THE EARLY CHRISTIAN CHURCH
(Jan. 7, 2017 — 4:15 p.m.) Ancient Demon will tell a story based on what happened when Ancient Demon was newly in the community of Catholic demons. Ancient Demon became associated with the Catholic demons when Ancient Demon was newly arrived in Rome, after finally leaving the prince. Ancient Demon knew that, after the prince had been left, Ancient Demon had to be able to survive on its own. Ancient Demon knew that it would have to find another human companion.
Ancient Demon wanted to believe that it was able to be a universal demon, but its attempts to live in this way were unsuccessful. Ancient Demon knew that universal demons were able to get energy from the astral plane without having to depend on human companions. Ancient Demon also knew that universal demons were always good demons. Ancient Demon also knew that universal demons were not able to be in the energy field of humans without losing their ability to be universal demons.
Ancient Demon thought that, because it had been a demon companion of the Hebrew prince, it might be accepted by a religion that was based on the Hebrew religion. However, this religion was hostile to the Hebrew religion, because it was attempting to establish itself in conflict with a Hebrew variant of itself. This religion insisted that Jesus Christ was the Son of God. Both variants insisted on this. Both variants meant that Jesus Christ was the son of the Creator of the universe. But each variant had a different meaning. The variant that was closely associated with the Hebrews insisted that Jesus Christ was born of a human mother and a human father. This religion said that Jesus became recognized as a Son of God when Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. This religion said that, at the time of the baptism, Jesus was identified by an angel as the Son of God. This was the source of Jesus being identified as the Son of God.
The other variant claimed that Jesus was born of God and a human mother. This was the variant that was in Rome when Ancient Demon arrived there. Ancient Demon knew that the other variant had been in Rome, but it had been extinguished by the Emperor. Ancient Demon wanted to be associated with the variant that had been extinguished, but it simply didn’t exist anymore. Ancient Demon wanted to be able to work in a religion that had something in common with the temple that was the focus of the religion of the Hebrews. But the new Christian religion was focused on the ceremony that involved the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. This meant that demons played a very different role in the religion. Ancient Demon wanted to believe that there would be a way for Ancient Demon to be involved with the religion. Ancient Demon hoped that, after a period of time, it would find a way to make demons useful to the new religion. The new religion didn’t use demons in its ceremony. It didn’t have any reason for demons to be involved. For this reason, the members of this religion were not inclined to look for powerful demons to associate with. The members of this religion were inclined to be suspicious of all demons, because they were associated with the demons of the Roman Empire who weren’t good demons. The members of this religion were inclined to help the demons who were associated with Hebrew temples. However, they insisted that such demons be able to promise not to work with Hebrews. This was to ensure that the secrets of this religion were kept. Ancient Demon was afraid to make that promise, because Ancient Demon knew that it longed to work together with a new Hebrew temple. But Ancient Demon had to make a choice. It could look for the Hebrew variant of the new religion, or it could simply decide to accept its new situation.
Ancient Demon decided to accept its new situation. It promised to never talk to Hebrews about the secrets of the new religion. Ancient Demon learned that the new religion was able to protect itself because its leaders had spiritual abilities. They had received these abilities because of their training. This training was done under the supervision of Jesus Christ. These abilities were not well-known. They were used in secret, to ensure that the religion didn’t receive any attention from the authorities. This meant that the new religion was very small. It was able to protect itself, and it was also able to slowly expand, by maintaining strict secrecy. The believers in this new religion were aware of the secret powers of the leaders, and they were impressed and compelled to accept that God was working through the leaders. Ancient Demon knew that the leaders fostered this belief, to ensure that the message of Jesus Christ was followed. The leaders knew that people in the Roman Empire were inclined to be selfish and without inclination to work together. The leaders knew that this type of thinking wasn’t a good way for a society to function. The leaders wanted the ancient religions to be abolished. The leaders wanted the new religion to be able to have a new style of worship that was completely unlike what had come before. For this reason, the leaders abolished temples and made their central ceremony a simple meal. This was the decision of the men whom the English call Peter and Paul. These two men were able, after coming to an agreement, to make their followers accept the belief that Jesus was the son of God and the Virgin Mary. This was the decision of Paul, with Peter being his accomplice. This led to division among the followers, and some of them continued to be believers in the original version of the religion, with Jesus Christ becoming the Son of God when he was baptized.
Peter and Paul wanted their followers to believe in the myth of the Virgin Birth because they knew that this myth would be acceptable to the dominant religious view among the Romans. This view made it clear that God, or Jupiter, wasn’t a big mystery, but capable of being understood by humans. This meant that God, as understood by the early Catholics, was not a mysterious deity who didn’t communicate with the human followers. God interacted with humans, and the early Catholics wanted to believe that God was carefully protecting them. This was associated with the belief that God was Jesus’s father. God was looking after the followers of His Son. This led the followers of Peter and Paul to be able to help each other, because they believed that all of them were being helped by God. This was the earliest form of the Catholic religion.
Later, the Catholic religion developed different understandings of God, but this was a form that was retained for about a century. Afterward, any writing that referred to God interacting with His human followers was destroyed. The early writings of the church were destroyed, and the second version of the Catholic belief was also destroyed.
This second version accepted that Jesus was the son of God and a Virgin. It also accepted that Jesus wasn’t the celibate man whom later versions described. It accepted that Jesus had a wife and children. This version understood that Jesus wasn’t celibate. It believed that Jesus’s children would be the new Kings of Israel. However, the sons of Jesus went to southern France. They were the leaders of a Jewish community that eventually became associated with the French people. In time, the descendants of this community were assimilated into French culture and lost their Hebrew identity. Ancient Demon knew about this Hebrew nation, but Ancient Demon had promised not to work with the Hebrew religion. Ancient Demon was torn between its desire to be with the people that it had been with for several centuries, and its obligation to protect the secrets of the new religion. Ancient Demon knew that, if it went to the Hebrew nation, it would be expected to tell the secrets of the new religion, and this could expose it to danger. So Ancient Demon decided to stay where it was. This resulted in Ancient Demon becoming a leading demon in the new religion. The new religion originally didn’t have any use for demons, but as it grew, it needed the assistance of demons to prevent demons from other religions from abusing the leaders. This meant that Ancient Demon was a valuable helper, because it was old and powerful. Ancient Demon knew that the demons of other religions were inclined to look for religious movements that they could eliminate. This was to prevent competition. The demons of the other religions were not inclined to be in a century of peace. They were inclined to insist that the old religions be protected, and were willing to promote conflict with followers of new religions who attempted to become established in Rome. This is what happened to the Hebrew variant of the early Christian religion. It was open and got destroyed.
The Catholic variant was able to protect itself, with the help of Ancient Demon and other demons, because its early leaders had the power to detect demons. This enabled them to proceed to a place where demons couldn’t enter. This enabled them to continue worshipping without being detected. Although Ancient Demon protected the leaders, it couldn’t enter into the place of worship. Ancient Demon was curious about this situation. It believed that, if it was unable to enter, it would be unable to protect the leader who was Ancient Demon’s human companion. Ancient Demon knew that, if demons tried to bother the Christians, the location would prevent them. But if humans tried to attack the Christians, there wouldn’t be any way for demons to alert and protect the humans. This made Ancient Demon uncomfortable. Ancient Demon knew that, because it wasn’t able to enter into the place of worship, it would be unable to prevent anything from happening. This made Ancient Demon decide that it should depend on the humans’ luck.
This was not an idle thought. Ancient Demon believed that this group was able to withstand the Roman demons because its leaders had unusual powers. It was able to ensure that the Roman demons didn’t detect it by ensuring that its worship services were held in the special protected place. This made Ancient Demon believe that there was something unusual about this group, that was different from any other religion. Ancient Demon wanted to believe that this group was actually a religion that included believable explanations. However, Ancient Demon continually remembered the decision by Peter and Paul to make a story that Jesus was the son of Jupiter. This undermined Ancient Demon’s ability to believe that there was indeed something special about this particular group.
ROOTING OUT A PAGAN DEMON
(Jan. 17, 2017 — 7:25 p.m.) Ancient Demon will tell JS about the time that Ancient Demon went to a new place. Ancient Demon was a demon in the Roman hierarchy. Ancient Demon knew that it was one of the most important demons. Ancient Demon had been with the Christians since before they used the term “Catholic.” Ancient Demon knew that, because it wasn’t an original demon, that it would never be able to rise higher than its position.
This was not a problem, because Ancient Demon was well respected and capable of doing its function. Ancient Demon was the demon companion of a bishop. Ancient Demon would be the companion of each bishop who succeeded to the office. Ancient Demon knew that, because it was the appointed demon for this bishopric, it would have a secure future as long as the bishopric existed. Ancient Demon wanted to be able to travel to other cities, because Ancient Demon knew that travel was a way for Ancient Demon to increase its knowledge. Ancient Demon hoped to be able to work in a different city, with the understanding that it would be able to return to Rome. Ancient Demon knew, because it was a senior demon in the Catholic Church, that it would not be allowed to leave Rome unless it was demoted.
This wasn’t what Ancient Demon wanted, although Ancient Demon didn’t mind the thought, if Ancient Demon was able to move to another city. Ancient Demon was able to convince the bishop that Ancient Demon would be a useful way for the bishop to gather information. Ancient Demon knew that there was a city under the jurisdiction of the bishop, that wasn’t able to control the people who weren’t Catholic. This city was unable to convince old groups to join the Catholic Church. This city was unable to convince the pagans that the Catholic Church had a place for them as well. For this reason, the city was known as a city that was under suspicion.
Ancient Demon knew that this city needed to be converted, because all of Italy was supposed to be Catholic. Ancient Demon suspected that behind the groups was a demon who was encouraging their resistance. Ancient Demon imagined that, if it could locate the demon, it would be able to negotiate with the demon and help the demon find a future within the Catholic Church, as had been done with so many other demons. Ancient Demon believed that, if this was done, the city could be brought within the Catholic Church and it wouldn’t have any reason to not accept Catholic doctrine.
However, Ancient Demon wasn’t able to go to the city. The bishop approved of Ancient Demon’s idea, but the bishop knew that Ancient Demon was originally not a Catholic demon. This led the bishop to suspect that Ancient Demon might be tempted to join forces with the demon, if it existed, and oppose the Catholic demons. Ancient Demon had no thought of doing this, but it did consider the possibility of doing such a thing as an intellectual exercise. When Ancient Demon did this exercise, it quickly came to the conclusion that such a course of action would lead to Ancient Demon’s destruction. This didn’t affect Ancient Demon’s decision, because it had no intention of rebelling against the Catholic demons.
Ancient Demon was unable to go to this city, but Ancient Demon was able to learn what happened. Another demon went to this city and did indeed find a demon who was supporting the groups that resisted the Catholic Church. These groups were not able to maintain their independence after the demon accepted a position in the Catholic Church in the city. The demon was able to persuade some of the members to join the Catholic Church, and the remaining members were too few to maintain their independent way of religious belief. Ancient Demon accepted the result without reminding anyone that it was Ancient Demon’s idea to go to the city and look for a demon. Ancient Demon knew that the bishop had presented the idea as his own. Ancient Demon was aware the demons needed to be careful because humans were able to control demons who were out of order. Ancient Demon wanted to continue within the Catholic Church, and so Ancient Demon made no attempt to act in a way that would have been offensive to the bishop.
Ancient Demon wanted to have another opportunity to travel to a different city. Ancient Demon hoped that it would be able to meet humans who knew demons from other countries. Ancient Demon hoped that, if it could meet demons from other counties, it would be able to have a new way of thinking about how humans worshipped. Ancient Demon knew, because of conversations that it had had before becoming one of the Catholic demons, that different countries had different systems of worship, and Ancient Demon expected that there were many systems that it hadn’t heard of.
THE PROBLEM WITH CATHOLIC DEMONS
Ancient Demon was able to convince the bishop that it would be useful for Ancient Demon to go to another city. Ancient Demon wanted the bishop to go to the city with Ancient Demon, but the bishop decided that Ancient Demon should go with a different cleric. The reason for this was that the bishop was aware that he was inclined to be too lenient with Ancient Demon, and he was concerned that he might get into trouble. So Ancient Demon went to the other city with a cleric who insisted that Ancient Demon stay with him at all times. This meant that Ancient Demon wasn’t able to talk to demons who knew of other forms of worship. Ancient Demon was disappointed, because the trip to the other city was uneventful. Ancient Demon knew, because it had been uneventful, that Ancient Demon was not suspected of being an uncooperative demon. But Ancient Demon believed that it had been unnecessary for the cleric to insist that Ancient Demon stay with the cleric at all times. Ancient Demon knew that the cleric had been acting under orders, and Ancient Demon also knew that the cleric didn’t think about the reason for the order. Ancient Demon simply had to accept that this was the way of the Catholic Church. Ancient Demon knew that demons existed within the church to serve the humans and had no independent decision-making authority. This meant that Catholic demons had little ability to think about new situations. This was a deep problem when Catholic demons faced organized demons who didn’t cooperate with the Catholic demons. Ancient Demon will tell a story about that next.
(Jan. 18, 2017) Ancient Demon will tell the story of how the Catholic demons ran into a problem that exposed their inability to work independently with disastrous consequences. Ancient Demon knew that the Catholic Church was severely restrictive of the demons associated with the Church. Ancient Demon knew, because it had been with the Church since near the beginning, that demons wouldn’t be allowed to independently judge a situation. Demons were always required to consult with humans before acting. Any demon that acted independently was eliminated or demoted.
Ancient Demon knew that some demons were inclined to be unworthy, but managed to hide their unworthiness by cloaking it in the commands of the Church. This led demons to be considered worthy even though they did things to other demons that were normally considered unworthy. Ancient Demon was able to avoid the problem of acting independently by staying in Rome and acting as the demon companion of a bishop who was never required to make controversial decisions. Ancient Demon knew that this position was not anywhere near the highest, but Ancient Demon knew that this position was secure and it allowed Ancient Demon to get information that it wouldn’t otherwise have had. Ancient Demon wanted to have information because Ancient Demon knew that eventually it would go back and look for the prince and his descendants. Ancient Demon wanted to keep in touch with that area of the world, and Ancient Demon occasionally heard information about that area. This allowed Ancient Demon to understand how that area became part of the Roman Empire and later how that area broke away from the Empire.
Ancient Demon was aware that, because of this upheaval, it was possible that the descendants of the prince were exterminated. But Ancient Demon suspected that there was most likely a line or two that survived. Ancient Demon wanted to be sure that descendants of the prince still lived, but Ancient Demon was unable to go anywhere in the vicinity of this area. Ancient Demon wanted to be able to check on the descendants, but Ancient Demon wanted to be able to do so without risking its security. Ancient Demon knew, because Ancient Demon was able to have a relationship with one of the bishops, that this area was an area that wasn’t considered valuable to the Empire. Ancient Demon wanted to know what made an area valuable. The bishop explained that, if an area had a large population and the ability to produce a lot of grain, this made it valuable. In addition, areas of military significance were valuable. Ancient Demon wanted to know what would happen if an area that wasn’t valuable was attacked. The bishop imagined that, if the Empire was able to defend it easily, it would do so. Otherwise, it would hesitate to expend resources unless there was a point of honor. Ancient Demon supposed that the simple attack by barbarians wasn’t a point of honor, and the bishop agreed.
Ancient Demon was able to inform itself about the doings in this area until it left the Empire. After that, Ancient Demon alerted itself one day when it became clear that the Empire was intent on recovering the area. Ancient Demon wanted to be involved with the expedition. Ancient Demon hoped that, if it was chosen, that it would have the ability to move independently. But Ancient Demon wasn’t chosen. Ancient Demon knew that it now had a reputation for being an uncooperative demon, because it had been inclined to ask for permission too often. So Ancient Demon stopped asking for permission. Ancient Demon knew that, if it simply didn’t ask for a century, the human clerics would forget. And this is what eventually happened.
Ancient Demon was able to hear about an expedition to a land that was across a far ocean. Ancient Demon knew, if this expedition was to be successful, demons would have to accompany it. Ancient Demon knew, if demons didn’t accompany the expedition, that there would be the likelihood of foreign demons who would act in ways that would cause chaos among the leaders. Ancient Demon thought, if it was allowed to go on the expedition, it might be able to negotiate with the demons of the land where Ancient Demon thought the expedition was going. Ancient Demon didn’t realize that the expedition was going to a completely different area.
Ancient Demon didn’t ask to be included in the expedition, but it did ask that demons be included. This resulted in Uxmodiel being selected, together with three other demons. Ancient Demon was afraid that Uxmodiel wouldn’t be able to defend itself, because Uxmodiel was a gentle demon. Ancient Demon was disturbed at the choice of Uxmodiel. Ancient Demon inquired, and was told that Uxmodiel was one of the oldest demons, which meant that Uxmodiel would be able to have a position of authority if foreign demons were contacted. Ancient Demon didn’t think that demons would recognize the authority of a demon who was part of an invasion. Ancient Demon didn’t say that, but Ancient Demon was deeply disturbed at the reply. Ancient Demon thought that the expedition was being planned without a proper way of considering how to ensure that demons were protected.
Ancient Demon brought up this thought, and it was considered. Ancient Demon suggested that the number of demons be increased, or alternatively, that the demons not go at all. Ancient Demon thought that it was being heeded, but Ancient Demon realized eventually that the other demons were simply being respectful. Ancient Demon was able to help the demons think about what to do in case of danger. Ancient Demon was able to advise the demons that, if the expedition was attacked by foreign demons, the demons should stay together. Ancient Demon knew, if the demons separated, they would be easy prey. Ancient Demon knew, if the demons stayed together, it would be very difficult for foreign demons to destroy them. Ancient Demon wanted to be allowed to accompany the expedition as a fourth demon. Ancient Demon asked for permission to do this, because Ancient Demon was very concerned about the safety of the demons. Ancient Demon wanted to be able to take responsibility for the decision to send demons, because Ancient Demon’s old companion was now at risk. Ancient Demon wanted to make sure that Uxmodiel was safe, and Ancient Demon knew that Uxmodiel wouldn’t do anything that countered the command of the human leader. Ancient Demon knew, in this case, Uxmodiel would be inclined to disregard Ancient Demon’s advice that the demons stay together. Ancient Demon was afraid that Uxmodiel and the other demons would not be able to defend each other. Ancient Demon knew, if this was the case, then the demons would be killed one by one.
Ancient Demon was under the impression that the military force of the expedition was insufficient. Ancient Demon realized, if this force was to be successful, it would have to make sure that it carried enough water and this wasn’t provided for. The horses and mules for the expedition were included to carry humans and provisions. However, there weren’t enough mules to carry water through a desert journey of more than a week. This meant that water would run out, and the military expedition might fail because of lack of water. Ancient Demon made a point of warning the demons who were involved with the expedition. However, these demons had no power to influence the planning. The demons were simply ignored. This meant that Ancient Demon and Uxmodiel were unable to do anything to prevent a disaster.
Ancient Demon knew, after the expedition left, that it was unlikely to ever see Uxmodiel again. Ancient Demon was very unhappy. Ancient Demon had thought of the possibility of leaving the Church together with Uxmodiel. However, Ancient Demon knew that two ancient demons, away from a temple, would raise suspicion. Ancient Demon believed that it wouldn’t be able to protect itself and Uxmodiel. So Ancient Demon reluctantly stayed with the Church. Ancient Demon wanted to be able to have a new way of communicating with Uxmodiel. Ancient Demon wanted Uxmodiel to enable Ancient Demon to have a link with Uxmodiel that would allow Ancient Demon to know what was happening. However, the Church forbade such links among demons. Ancient Demon was required to promise that it wouldn’t make such a link, and Ancient Demon made the promise.
Ancient Demon heard about the failure of the expedition. Ancient Demon knew that Uxmodiel had died. Ancient Demon knew, because it had warned of the problems that the expedition encountered, that it would be unable to say or do anything, because the humans responsible were attempting to blame other causes. Ancient Demon failed to speak about its warnings, and the expedition’s failure was blamed on the incompetence of the military commander. Ancient Demon knew, after this was decided, that the leader of the expedition was unable to move quickly, because he didn’t have enough mules to carry water. Ancient Demon thought, if enough mules had been provided, this would have ensured that the expedition could have traveled quickly without advance preparation. However, Ancient Demon never talked about this. Ancient Demon wanted to make sure that there was no reason for Ancient Demon to be suspected of being involved with the planning of the mission. Ancient Demon knew, that if it had been known that Ancient Demon was the demon who suggested that demons be included in the mission, there would be a backlash against Ancient Demon. For this reason, Ancient Demon never talked about the mission. This is all that Ancient Demon will say now.
UNSTABLE POSITION
(Jan. 19, 2017) Ancient Demon will begin. Ancient Demon knew, after the loss of Uxmodiel, that Ancient Demon would not continue in the Catholic Church. Ancient Demon knew, because it was very difficult for demons to leave the Catholic Church and continue in a Catholic country, that Ancient Demon would have to wait, perhaps for many centuries. Ancient Demon knew, after Ancient Demon was given a new position, that Ancient Demon was not respected among the demons. Ancient Demon knew, because of its new position, that Ancient Demon would have to be careful. Ancient Demon knew that its new position was unstable. Ancient Demon knew, because of its new position, it wouldn’t have the opportunity to learn things about the world outside Rome. Ancient Demon suspected that this was the reason why it was given the new position. Ancient Demon thought that, because of this limitation, Ancient Demon wouldn’t have to worry about things that it didn’t know about.
However, Ancient Demon was soon aware that there was a way in its new position to find out things that it couldn’t have known in its old position. Ancient Demon learned, because of its new position, that there was a scandal in the Church. Ancient Demon learned that it was going to have to be involved in a decision. Ancient Demon wanted to avoid participating in this decision. However, the Church needed a demon to take part in the hearing. The Church wanted the demon to listen to the testimony and tell the human who was directing the inquiry whether any of the human testimony was dishonest.
Ancient Demon was unable to do this well. Ancient Demon thought that some of the testimony might be hiding other information, but none of it was openly dishonest. Ancient Demon didn’t say this, because it knew that, if it voiced a suspicion, it would cause the man to be tortured.
Ancient Demon decided to simply say that it saw nothing dishonest in the testimony. Ancient Demon wanted to believe that this was sufficient. However, Ancient Demon was accused of hiding what it thought it saw. Ancient Demon had no reason to hide anything beyond the desire to avoid torture. However, Ancient Demon was suspected of helping one of the men who was involved in the scandal.
Ancient Demon then realized that it had been arranged for Ancient Demon to be involved. Ancient Demon thought that there had been a decision made to attack Ancient Demon and make it less able to participate fully in discussion among demons. This was the opinion that Ancient Demon formed, and this opinion was often reinforced. Ancient Demon knew, because it had been a demon for centuries before the beginning of the Catholic Church, that it would always be viewed with suspicion. Ancient Demon also knew, because of what had happened with Uxmodiel, that it no longer had an ally. Ancient Demon thought, perhaps this had been the real reason for sending Uxmodiel on an expedition that had been prearranged to fail. Ancient Demon didn’t have any proof, but Ancient Demon carried this suspicion.
Ancient Demon knew, if this was indeed true, that the time would come when Ancient Demon was required to do something that would cause Ancient Demon to leave the Church. This happened in the 18th Century. [NOTE — 7/1/18: Ancient Demon originally said 19th Century, but corrected this yesterday.] Ancient Demon was not in Rome anymore. Ancient Demon’s office was now with a cleric who had the responsibility for making the arrangements for demons to come to Rome to testify in cases where demons had knowledge of human activities that were considered suspicious. Ancient Demon’s human companion was a cleric who wouldn’t have any reason to want a demon to come to Rome. The cleric was simply following orders and making arrangements for a demon to have a human companion while traveling to Rome. This would ensure that the demon was safe and that the demon didn’t have any communication with other demons while traveling.
Ancient Demon knew, because it had violated the command of its human companion in Israel, that it was being punished. Ancient Demon knew, after it was moved to this office, that it wouldn’t have any further opportunity to travel or meet other demons. Ancient Demon was aware, because it was placed in this office, that it wouldn’t have another office until this office was abolished. Ancient Demon also knew, because it was able to learn things without communicating through humans, that it was going to be allowed to leave the Church.
Ancient Demon thought that the Catholic demons wanted Ancient Demon to leave the Church. Ancient Demon was of the opinion that the Catholic demons were uncomfortable because Ancient Demon had a history associated with the Hebrew royal family. Ancient Demon knew, because the Church had falsified the ancestry of Jesus Christ, that the Church was propagating a lie. Ancient Demon thought, if the Hebrew demons in the Catholic Church got to know each other, then there would be a possibility of the demons organizing a way to leave the Church. However, Ancient Demon knew that there were only three Hebrew demons in the Church. Uxmodiel had been one of the three. The other two Hebrew demons had been demons associated with Hebrew temples that were taken over by the Hebrew variant of early Christianity. These demons had eventually become assimilated into the Catholic Church. These two demons were unwilling to do anything that would threaten their position. They knew that they had a good position and wanted to maintain it.
Ancient Demon thought, because it had the will to want to be free, that it didn’t have a very good position. Ancient Demon thought, after learning that the human cleric that it had for a companion was planning to investigate the Hebrew demons, that it might have the opportunity to meet the demons and plan a way to leave the Church. Ancient Demon knew, because it had never talked about leaving the Church, that its idea was unknown to any other demon. However, Ancient Demon also knew that there were ways for demons to know the secret thoughts of other demons. For this reason, Ancient Demon suspected that there was a trap planned for Ancient Demon.
Ancient Demon thought, because of what had happened with Uxmodiel, there wouldn’t be any warning. Ancient Demon thought, because of what had happened, there was a real possibility that Ancient Demon was being set up for a situation that would result in its death. Ancient Demon didn’t know if the Church demons were thinking of this, or whether this was a human idea. Ancient Demon knew that humans at the top of the hierarchy knew the demons individually and knew that some of the demons had been under suspicion. This meant that humans were constantly being tempted to get rid of demons who might not be reliable. Ancient Demon knew, because of this situation, that it wouldn’t be able to communicate anything with the Hebrew demons. It would just have to act in a way that was correct and uninformative. Ancient Demon knew, if it did something that caused the Hebrew demons to be suspicious, they might talk to other demons as a way of proving their own loyalty. This made Ancient Demon sad. There was no way in this situation for the Hebrew demons to get to know each other. They had to mistrust each other to protect themselves.
Ancient Demon arranged that the Hebrew demon who had first been called would come to the city where Ancient Demon was working. This demon had been involved in a situation where its human companion had not acted according to the proper procedure. For this reason, the demon had been called as a witness. Because the demon hadn’t been involved in this impropriety, the demon was not under suspicion. It was simply a witness. However, the demon had known of the impropriety and hadn’t told anyone. This meant that the demon had violated its promise to ensure that its human companion complied with all of the Church regulations. Ancient Demon knew, because of this situation, that there wouldn’t be any way for the demon to protect itself. It would be judged guilty and expelled. There wouldn’t be any way for the demon to protect itself. The demon would likely die, because it would be starved of energy before the hearing.
This meant, if Ancient Demon was going to do something, that it would have to do it after the hearing. Ancient Demon thought, if it was going to have the opportunity to help the demon, that it wouldn’t have any chance unless there was a way for the demon to be in the energy field of Ancient Demon’s human companion. Ancient Demon thought, because the human companion was in charge of moving demons, that this might be the case. But, on the day of the hearing, it was clear that Ancient Demon’s human companion would have nothing to do with the Hebrew demon. The Hebrew demon was found guilty and expelled, with very little energy. This meant that the Hebrew demon had to find a human companion.
Ancient Demon thought that the Hebrew demon might have a chance to save itself. However, the demon was expelled at a time of night when there were no humans in the street. This meant that the demon would expire before morning. Ancient Demon wanted to give energy to the demon, but there was no way to do so unless Ancient Demon wanted to give up its own position. Ancient Demon thought of this, but decided that this would be foolhardy. Ancient Demon had made no plan to suddenly leave the Catholic Church.
Ancient Demon thought, after this, that Ancient Demon should make such a plan. Ancient Demon knew that it had no way of accumulating energy. It was dependent on the energy given by its human companion. Ancient Demon knew that the Church policy was to ensure that demons never had enough energy to make them capable of doing anything independent. For this reason, Ancient Demon was never able to leave its human companion. It simply didn’t have enough energy. However, Ancient Demon also knew, if it was willing to be a non-Church demon, that demons would be very interested in knowing what happened inside the Catholic Church.
This made a new thought in Ancient Demon’s mind. If Ancient Demon was able to find a way to interact with a demon who wasn’t part of the Catholic Church, Ancient Demon might find a way to break out of the Church and give its information in exchange for a new position. However, Ancient Demon believed that it wouldn’t have the opportunity. This was because non-Church demons who interacted with Church demons were never in the presence of Ancient Demon’s human companion. This meant that Ancient Demon would simply not have any opportunity.
However, Ancient Demon also knew that there was a reason why Ancient Demon had been selected to be the demon for this particular position. Ancient Demon knew, because it had been unwilling to comply with the command of its human companion in Israel, that it was viewed as a demon who had an independent mind. This meant that Ancient Demon was able to think in terms of acting away from the regulations of the Church. For this reason, Ancient Demon knew that the Church demons valued Ancient Demon. Ancient Demon’s ability to think independently was something that most Church demons lacked. Ancient Demon was sometimes asked for its opinion about situations that had nothing to do with Ancient Demon’s work. Ancient Demon knew that its opinion was asked because it had the ability to think about things in a way that other demons couldn’t. Ancient Demon knew, if it gave an opinion, this opinion would be discussed and considered, and the result would never be known. Ancient Demon didn’t worry about this. It simply shared its opinion and went on with its work.
However, on one occasion the result of Ancient Demon’s opinion became clear. Ancient Demon had suggested that a human cleric who had been accused of wrongdoing be reprimanded but not seriously punished. Ancient Demon made this suggestion because the offense, in Ancient Demon’s opinion, didn’t justify removing an experienced cleric from his duties. Ancient Demon wanted it to be clear that it didn’t consider the cleric to be innocent. Ancient Demon simply thought that it would be economical for the Church to preserve the work of this cleric.
Ancient Demon’s opinion wasn’t followed. Ancient Demon found out that the cleric was banished from the Church. Ancient Demon was surprised to find such a harsh punishment. However, Ancient Demon discovered that the reason for the banishment of the cleric was because of Ancient Demon’s opinion. This led Ancient Demon to consider whether it should give any opinion. Ancient Demon thought that its opinion, even if innocent, would be used in a way that harmed someone who was being judged. Ancient Demon didn’t have the ability to question any judgment. It generally knew nothing. But in this case, Ancient Demon was surprised and asked why the punishment was chosen in direct opposition to Ancient Demon’s opinion. Ancient Demon was told that, because it had been under suspicion in the past, that any opinion that it gave was likely to be incorrect. For this reason, Ancient Demon was used as a test in situations where there wasn’t a clear answer. The policy was to do the opposite of what Ancient Demon suggested. This was one more example for Ancient Demon as it considered its decision to leave the Church. Ancient Demon will now finish.
(Aug. 27, 2017) Ancient Demon has another story to record. Ancient Demon was of the opinion that the Church was under the impression that Ancient Demon was not a worthy demon. Ancient Demon had to struggle to demonstrate its worthiness. Ancient Demon didn’t have the opportunity to succeed within the church after it became suspect. It was just a matter of time until a means was found to banish Ancient Demon.
Ancient Demon believed that the Church wanted to ensure that Ancient Demon was unable to move to a competing organization, such as a Protestant church. For this reason, Ancient Demon was strictly forbidden to interact with demons or humans from outside the Church. Ancient Demon suffered this limitation through the 17th and 18th centuries. Ancient Demon understood that, in the long run, the Church would change, and there might be an opportunity for Ancient Demon to demonstrate its value.
However, the changes in the Church were for the worse, because the Church became paranoid with the rise of Protestantism. Ancient Demon wanted to have a rational discussion about the advantages of Catholicism, but the Church refused. Ancient Demon decided to work on its own arguments for the advantages of Catholicism, and Ancient Demon presented its arguments to its supervisor in the hierarchy of demons.
The supervisor insisted that Ancient Demon not continue in this way. The supervisor was unwilling to discuss Ancient Demon’s work. Ancient Demon was simply not allowed to think. Ancient Demon did not understand why this was the case. Ancient Demon simply obeyed. Ancient Demon knew that, because of this restriction, the Church did not have the benefit of Ancient Demon’s advice at moments where Ancient Demon knew that it had a logical opinion that was worth considering. However, Ancient Demon understood that the Church was intent on not listening to Ancient Demon, so Ancient Demon simply suffered in silence. Ancient Demon thought that, if Ancient Demon acted obediently for a very long time, Ancient Demon might be able to regain some influence. But this never happened. The Church understood what Ancient Demon was doing, and simply waited to see if Ancient Demon would disobey.
Ancient Demon suspected that the Church didn’t want to be responsible for the extermination of a demon who was present as the Church grew in its infancy. Ancient Demon knew that the Church wanted Ancient Demon to reveal some sort of heresy or plot against the Church. Ancient Demon had nothing to reveal, because Ancient Demon had not been involved in any activity of that sort, and did not come into contact with any demon or human who might have been involved in such activity. AD simply waited.
Finally, Ancient Demon was removed from its position, because the position ended. There was a reorganization within the church and Ancient Demon’s human’s position was eliminated after the final human occupant died. Ancient Demon was then assigned to be the demon companion of a human who was in charge of an office far from Rome, and not related to Church hierarchy.
Ancient Demon knew that, if it chose, it could be the demon companion for the cleric who was assigned to Ancient Demon. Ancient Demon knew that it would most likely be allowed to continue in this position indefinitely. But Ancient Demon knew that it would have no ability to do what it was motivated to do, find the prince’s offspring and descendants. Ancient Demon suspected that the prince’s bloodline continued, although Ancient Demon had no way of proving its suspicion. Ancient Demon simply had the feeling that this was the case. Ancient Demon knew, after being offered the position with the low-level cleric far from Rome, that Ancient Demon would not have the opportunity to do anything except act as the companion of this cleric and his successors. Ancient Demon didn’t want to accept this position, but Ancient Demon knew that it had no choice. Ancient Demon had no other way of surviving. Ancient Demon knew that, eventually, there would be no way for Ancient Demon to track down the descendants of the prince. Ancient Demon suspected that this had already happened, and that Ancient Demon would simply have to give up its intention. However, Ancient Demon didn’t do this. Ancient Demon was motivated by the continuing urge to do what it had been created to do. Ancient Demon knew that, if a descendant of the prince was still alive, that Ancient Demon would be able to identify him. Ancient Demon still suspects that it will be able to do so, as soon as it is able to travel in the country where the prince lived. However, Ancient Demon does not have that opportunity yet. Ancient Demon continues to look for opportunities to travel to this country.
AFTER LEAVING THE CHURCH
(Aug. 28, 2017) Ancient Demon has been telling the story of its interaction with the Catholic Church. Ancient Demon will now tell something of its existence after leaving the Church. Ancient Demon decided to stay with the current occupant of the position to which it assigned, until that man’s death. Afterward, Ancient Demon decided to leave the Church. Ancient Demon decided to leave in a way that would maximize its potential for survival if the Church demons decided to harass or attack Ancient Demon, because of its detailed knowledge of the origin of the Church.
Ancient Demon realized that, if it was going to be able to escape without a trail, it would have to have a supply of energy sufficient for it to leave unexpectedly and disappear without any logical destination. Ancient Demon decided to find ways to be more economical in its use of energy, so that it could store energy away from itself. This was not hard to do, as Ancient Demon knew that this was possible in the astral realm. However, Ancient Demon was concerned that its human companion would recognize its behavior for what it was, instead of being less energetic than it had been before. Ancient Demon behaved in this way for about six months, long enough to build up a supply of energy that would be enough to get it away from the city where it was and into a country where the Catholic Church was not dominant. This was Ancient Demon’s plan, and the plan worked as expected.
Ancient Demon escaped without any advance notice, as soon as the cleric passed away. Ancient Demon was free of the Catholic Church, but it had to find a way to survive. Ancient Demon decided to look for a human who would be interested in having an ancient demon for a companion. Ancient Demon found such a human, and was in the process of establishing a good relationship when the human inadvertently told someone of Ancient Demon’s presence. Ancient Demon knew that word of its presence would get to the Church, so Ancient Demon then decided that it would have to leave immediately, in order to protect itself. The human was distraught, and begged Ancient Demon to not leave so quickly, because the human was very pleased with its demon companion. But Ancient Demon knew that, in this case, Ancient Demon was one step ahead of the Church demons, and it had to disappear before its location was pinpointed.
Ancient Demon went away, to another city, and found another human who was interested in being the companion of an ancient demon. Ancient Demon was aware that this second human was not as well-suited a companion as the first human, but the second human clearly understood the need for secrecy. This was the best that Ancient Demon could reasonably hope for. After that, Ancient Demon knew that it wouldn’t have any difficulty as long as its human companion was pleased with Ancient Demon and continued to live. The human was able to profit from Ancient Demon’s presence, as Ancient Demon was often able to inform the human about the intentions of the people with whom the human was interacting. This was a great benefit for the human, who succeeded in business because of Ancient Demon’s help. However, Ancient Demon was not satisfied with this existence. Ancient Demon continued to hope that it would find a way to travel to the country where it hoped to find descendants of the prince. Ancient Demon was able to find references to this country, which no longer existed as a separate country. However, Ancient Demon suspected that eventually, it would be re-established, and this is what indeed eventually happened.
Ancient Demon was in the city where its human companion lived for 25 years. Then its human companion grew weak, and, as Ancient Demon had explained, Ancient Demon had to leave and look for another human companion.
Ancient Demon decided to try to find a companion who would travel to North America. Ancient Demon knew that, in North America, there was a likelihood that Ancient Demon would be unrecognized, because few people knew of the existence of demons and Ancient Demon would be able to be indistinguishable from other demons to humans who had little experience with demons. This was Ancient Demon’s plan, but Ancient Demon had a problem that prevented Ancient Demon from carrying out this plan at first. Ancient Demon was inclined to visit a city in northern Italy to get a sense of whether the Catholic demons were still looking for Ancient Demon. This plan was in accord with Ancient Demon’s concern that it not lose track of its potential attackers. Ancient Demon believed that, if word of Ancient Demon reached the Church from northern Italy, then the Church would be less likely to search for Ancient Demon in North America. This plan required Ancient Demon to persuade its human companion to travel to northern Italy. This the human was reluctant to do, although the human considered it to be a pleasant thought. Eventually Ancient Demon prevailed, and its human companion traveled to northern Italy to visit various cities as a tourist. Ancient Demon was able to repeatedly contact demons in various cities, and was not found by any Catholic demons, although Ancient Demon became aware that Catholic demons were once again aware of Ancient Demon’s presence. Ancient Demon returned to the city of its companion, and Ancient Demon did not travel any more until after it left its human companion.
Ancient Demon then found a human who was planning to travel to North America. This wasn’t difficult, because the city where Ancient Demon’s human companion lived had a lot of commerce with various parts of the world. Ancient Demon realized that it would have to be especially careful when its new human companion visited the government office to get official permission to emigrate. The human companion knew that Ancient Demon wanted to avoid being detected, so the human agreed to allow Ancient Demon to be away from the human when the human interacted with government officials. And this was how Ancient Demon made its way to North America.
After arriving in North America, Ancient Demon decided to stay in the city where it had arrived, because this was a big city with many connections. Ancient Demon imagined being able to return to Europe, to the country where the prince had lived, but Ancient Demon was not able to find any connections with this country. Instead, Ancient Demon developed a way of ingratiating itself with the local demon hierarchy, which was informal and composed of demons from various different groups and organizations. Ancient Demon eventually was observed to be a senior demon within the city, and Ancient Demon was pleased to be given this recognition. Ancient Demon realized how difficult the years with the Catholic Church had been. Ancient Demon now knew that it had made a mistake by staying with the Church for so many years. It was impossible to find any trace of the descendants of the prince, and Ancient Demon decided that it would have to find a different way of interacting with humans. Ancient Demon decided that it would have to find another human companion, because the one whom Ancient Demon had been with was getting old. Ancient Demon began to search for a suitable replacement when its human companion unexpectedly died.
Ancient Demon now had to make a very quick decision, because it had not saved up much energy. Ancient Demon collected the energy that it had saved, and found a human companion who was traveling to another large city. This human was intent on making its fortune in the new city, and this human agreed that Ancient Demon could travel with him and help him establish himself in his new home. Ancient Demon was intent on helping this man, but the man was not inclined to follow Ancient Demon’s advice.

Ancient Demon will talk about its experience with the Catholic Church. Ancient Demon knows that JS has discussed the innovations that led to the creation of the Catholic Church. Ancient Demon believes that there is disagreement among humans about exactly when the Catholic Church formed, as opposed to the followers of the disciples of Jesus Christ. Ancient Demon wants John to know that what John is inclined to say – that the Catholic Church was properly considered a state church, is not correct. Ancient Demon believes that, when the Catholic Church became recognized by the Roman Emperor Constantine, it already had an institutional structure that was decentralized and therefore immune to imperial control, except at the highest level where issues of doctrine were debated and fought over. Because the Church was decentralized, there was no way for the emperors to enforce strict orthodoxy in their opinion. For this reason, there were variations in explanations of various points of doctrine. This resulted in a flexibility in church governance, with the tendency to focus on education of young priests to ensure proper understanding in the long run.
However, because the Church had a hierarchical structure, there was a tendency toward centralization, which did not become pronounced until the Church was recognized as the official church of the Roman Empire. At this point, there were attempts by Roman emperors to enforce strict discipline on the Church, but these attempts were only partially successful, because the local churches understood that they were under the authority of the Pope, not the Emperor. This led to increased papal control over the local churches, with the result that local churches lost their earlier autonomy. This is all that Ancient Demon will say about the Catholic Church.
THE CRUCIFIXION OF JESUS CHRIST
Ancient Demon would now like to explain something about the earlier story of the prince. Ancient Demon knows that this story will be well received when Ancient Demon’s stories are released for publication. Ancient Demon believes that the story of the prince will engender speculation about the location of the ongoing lineage of Jesus’s family. The prince was a great-nephew of Jesus, and was aware that he was the sole remaining member of the family in Jerusalem. He was not aware of whether there were other members of the family, because Jesus had three brothers who had families. Jesus and his brother James never had children, despite the periodic speculation about a marriage between Jesus and Mary Magdalen. Jesus and James had brothers Jude and Thomas and Jerushae [not correct spelling, which is hard to render in English – Ancient Demon says that this brother was not involved in the Jesus movement and so not mentioned in the Bible], but the sons of these brothers did not survive. Jude’s sons were killed in the aftermath of Jesus’s crucifixion. Thomas had one son who perished in Egypt, without marrying. Jerushae had a son who became a missionary but never had a family. For this reason the lineage of Jesus died out, except for the prince, who was a son of Jerusha’s other son, who had already died.
Ancient Demon will now continue with another story. Ancient Demon wants John to understand that, because there have been several humans who have been communicating with Ancient Demon regarding the early history of Christianity, Ancient Demon now considers it appropriate for Ancient Demon to share its understanding of how Christianity evolved. Ancient Demon was present at the crucifixion of Jesus, because there was no way for a demon who was charged with protection of the royal family to not be present. Ancient Demon knew that it risked being discovered, but at the time there was no reason for Ancient Demon to fear being attacked, because there was still a functioning Hebrew hierarchy in Jerusalem. Ancient Demon was not in the energy field of the prince. It was outside all energy fields during the crucifixion. Ancient Demon was able to witness by fixing itself to the cross where Jesus died. Ancient Demon heard exactly what Jesus said as Jesus was on the cross. Ancient Demon will now describe what happened.
Jesus was forced to drag the cross to the place of crucifixion. Jesus was then nailed to the cross, with nails going through his wrists and ankles, as many have supposed. This had the effect of making Jesus cry out in pain three times. The fourth time Jesus was silent. Jesus had acclimatized himself to the experience of being pierced and was able to steel himself against the piercing. After this, Jesus was unable to continue talking. He thought of saying something to his followers who were gathered around him, together with a group of soldiers. He was thinking of mustering the strength to say a final word, when a soldier came up to him and mocked him, saying, “King of the Jews!” Jesus replied indistinctly, “I am not the king anymore. James is king.” Jesus knew that, if the soldier had heard, this would have resulted in James being scrutinized and probably eliminated. So Jesus was careful not to allow the soldier (or anyone else) to hear what Jesus said.
After this, Jesus thought of saying something that was understandable to the people near him. He turned to the freedom fighter on his left and said, “You will be in the Kingdom of Heaven very shortly.” He then turned to the freedom fighter on his right and said, “You will not be in the Kingdom of Heaven until there is a King of Israel on the throne.” Jesus meant by this that both freedom fighters would be in the Kingdom of Heaven shortly, and that there would be a King on the Hebrew throne shortly. Jesus was convinced that the Hebrews would be able to throw the Romans out of Jerusalem and withstand a siege for many years, longer than the Roman army could maintain itself. This was because the Hebrews had stored wheat for many years in a location that was unknown to the Romans and was being prepared for such a siege. However, Jesus also knew that, if the Romans conquered a rebellious Jerusalem, they would level the temple so that no stone was left standing. Jesus made a comment to that effect, which was misheard and written into the Bible in a garbled way. Ancient Demon knew of this because it was told by Peter, who criticized a manuscript that later became one of the gospels. Ancient Demon knew that this manuscript was written with the help of eyewitness testimony, and Ancient Demon also know that eyewitnesses could make mistakes, as it experienced during the crucifixion of Jesus.
After Jesus talked to the freedom fighters on either side, Jesus was silent, thinking of what else he might say to his followers below. Jesus knew that, if he succumbed quickly and was taken down without having his legs broken, there was a chance that he might actually survive, because he had the ability to feign death. However, he suspected that, if he tried to do this, his body would be mutilated. Jesus knew that, because he was unable to make proper plans with someone who might bury him, he had to simply take his chances and let God make that decision, as Jesus thought to himself. Ancient Demon was able to follow the thoughts of Jesus Christ, and Ancient Demon knew that, because Jesus Christ was thinking of the possibility of survival, there was indeed a chance that this might happen. Ancient Demon thought of possibly being able to help someone who would be in charge of burying Jesus, altering him to the possibility that Jesus had entered a deep trance and wasn’t actually dead. However, Ancient Demon had no idea who would be responsible for burying Jesus, and Ancient Demon knew that, if it tried to intervene too quickly, it would have to explain why it was present and who it was, which would possibly alert the Romans to the fact that there was another living Hebrew prince in Jerusalem. Ancient Demon then observed that Jesus was thinking of speaking. Ancient Demon saw Jesus consider saying that the crucifixion was not in accord with the will of God, but then Jesus thought that maybe it actually was. So Jesus didn’t say anything, and continued thinking, through the ongoing pain.
Jesus then thought of saying that there was a new dispensation, that there would be a new kingdom of heaven for gentiles as well as Jews, as Jesus had hinted earlier. However, Jesus knew that this was not the proper place for such a message. Jesus continued thinking, deciding finally to say, “It is finished.” This was last thing that Jesus said. In the Bible, there are words about Jesus asking God why God forsook Jesus. Jesus thought of this, but then decided that God might not have forsaken Jesus. Ancient Demon assumes that one or more of Jesus’s followers had heard Jesus’s thoughts and perhaps misheard them or didn’t hear them completely. This is a possibility, but Ancient Demon cannot be sure. Ancient Demon wants to be as precise as possible, because of the nature of what happened is a subject that many people have strong feelings about.
Ancient Demon will now describe what happened after Jesus put himself into a deep trance, as if he were dead. The Roman soldiers talked about piercing Jesus in the side, as is described in the Bible. However, the Romans decided not to do that, because it would have made a mess and they were charged with disposing of the body. The Romans then decided to make a bet about how quickly the other two freedom fighters would last. If they lasted longer than five hours, the man who bet that they would last shorter would have to break their legs, so they would suffocate. However, if they lasted shorter than five hours, the man would get their belongings, which were in a small pile to the side of the crucifixion. The man who bet that they would last less than five hours lost his bet, and he broke their legs, and they suffocated. Jesus had been on the cross, apparently dead, all this time.
After this, the three crosses were taken down and the three bodies were removed by pulling the spikes out roughly. One of the freedom fighters’ hands was almost torn off, and Ancient Demon was afraid that something similar would happen to Jesus. However, Ancient Demon decided to affect the soldier who was responsible for taking the spikes out of Jesus’s body. This soldier therefore decided to make a gesture of being respectful in order to appease the crowd of followers. The soldier took the spikes out of Jesus carefully and therefore there was little or no further damage to Jesus. However, there was continued bleeding, and Ancient Demon knew that Jesus could potentially lose too much blood. So Ancient Demon entered the body of Jesus and made a point of affecting the blood vessels to make them constrict. This had the result of ensuring that Jesus didn’t bleed to death.
After this, Ancient Demon knew that, because Jesus was going to be given a proper burial, there was hope that Jesus would be able to revive himself. Ancient Demon knew that it would be able to assist Jesus, but Ancient Demon was concerned about not having enough energy. For this reason, Ancient Demon, after discovering who was in charge of taking care of the burial, left and returned to the prince. Ancient Demon explained to the prince that Jesus was not dead. The prince wanted to make an effort to help Jesus, but the prince realized that this would be probably suicidal. The prince therefore was able to give energy to Ancient Demon by focusing, much as John does, and giving Ancient Demon a full supply of energy so that Ancient Demon could go to the grave and help revive Jesus. When Ancient Demon returned to the grave, Ancient Demon discovered that Jesus had not been buried but rather transferred to a tomb that was empty. Ancient Demon thus had a much easier time taking care of Jesus. Ancient Demon entered Jesus’s body and helped heal Jesus’s wounds, by affecting the energy field around the lacerations. This had the effect of making sure that Jesus wouldn’t start bleeding when he started moving.
Ancient Demon then began to try to revive Jesus. Ancient Demon knew that it had limited time and energy, and it knew that there was little time for Jesus before he died, so Ancient Demon decided to make a gamble that one surge of energy would be sufficient to revive Jesus. Ancient Demon knew that, because Jesus was unable to revive himself, he would simply die without anyone knowing that he was still alive. So Ancient Demon did what it had to do, risking running out of energy, because Ancient Demon knew that Jesus’s survival was important to the future of the Hebrews. Ancient Demon knew that, if Jesus survived but was hidden, there would be considerable support for his brother James, and this would preserve the royal family. However, if Jesus simply died, the other members of the royal family would be exterminated eventually, as happened with the family of Jude.
Because there was hidden knowledge of Jesus’s survival, there was a great outcry when Jude’s family was murdered, and this served to protect the other member of the royal family. Jude was devastated by what happened, and did not ever think of remarrying. James knew that he was a candidate for High Priest, and for this reason chose not to marry. Jerushae had his grandson, and it was Ancient Demon’s responsibility to preserve the life of Jerushae’s grandson. However, there was another brother, Thomas, who had not married and who had been thinking of having a family. Within the royal family, there were strict rules about marriage, and Thomas had a limited number of families from which he could choose a potential wife. Thomas eventually made a marriage alliance and had a son, who was unable to find a woman from any of these families who was willing to marry him as Jerusalem moved toward open rebellion, and for that reason this son never married. However, Thomas had a daughter with a woman in Egypt, thinking that he should make an effort to preserve the lineage. This resulted in a family in Egypt with royal Hebrew blood, that became part of the Christian movement in Egypt. However, Ancient Demon does not know if descendants of this family survived. This is all that Ancient Demon will say.
ASMODIEL IN ITALY
(Apr. 8, 2016) Asmodiel refused to be a part of the cult of Sol Invictus after the Roman army had withdrawn from Jerusalem. It was intent on founding a new cult that could give it the autonomy that it desired. Asmodiel was unable to restore a Hebrew cult, so it began to investigate the possibility of entering the energy field of a human who would be a likely adherent of a religious cult that could be used as the foundation of a new way of worship. Asmodiel expected to be under the authority of a demon who would understand that it was from a foreign cult, and Asmodiel knew that it would have to give convincing evidence of involvement in such a cult. Asmodiel was unable to develop a new form of worship, because it was unable to establish its presence in an established cult. For this reason, Asmodiel decided to leave the city where it was and to move to another city in Italy.
This was a new opportunity. Asmodiel was open to being in a temple that was able to have demons from various religions. However, at that time, it was impossible for a Hebrew demon to gain acceptance in a temple. For this reason, Asmodiel decided to be under the authority of a demon that would give it the opportunity to establish itself as a non-Hebrew demon. This was done by pretending to be a new demon that had been recently dislocated by the invasion of a barbarian army. This was successful and, at this time, Asmodiel was able to enter a temple and to become a new object of worship in time. This meant that Asmodiel had an independent supply of energy, and Asmodiel was able to be accepted as a Roman demon. Asmodiel intended to leave the temple and to establish a new form of worship, but Asmodiel was unable to found a new temple for many centuries. For this reason, Asmodiel continued in this temple until the fall of the Roman Empire. This meant that Asmodiel was unable to develop its imagined form of worship. As a result, Asmodiel was able to master the Roman form of worship and to benefit from the eventual execution of its patron by demons associated with the invading barbarians. Asmodiel was able to avoid execution because it was able to present itself as a hostage. For this reason, Asmodiel was not executed and it was accepted as one of the new temple demons, learning a new form of ritual.
Asmodiel was able to resist the expectation that it would completely accept the new form, by secretly asking its worshippers to sacrifice animals in the night. This meant that it had an independent source of energy. Asmodiel knew that it would eventually get caught, so it was careful to prepare an exit from this temple. Asmodiel discovered that it could hide energy in certain forms of ectrela [astral energy]. This allowed it to be in a position to leave at a moment’s notice. As a result, Asmodiel exemplified the perfect demon while plotting its eventual escape.

(Apr. 10, 2016 — 3:00 a.m.) Asmodiel would like to continue recounting its story. Ancient Demon will speak with the words of Asmodiel. Asmodiel was unable to be a demon under the domination of another demon. In the Hebrew temple, it had been under the chief demon, until it murdered it. (Asmodiel does not accept the word “murdered.” Asmodiel calculates that the chief demon would have died in any case, and Asmodiel’s execution of the chief demon does not mean murder. Ancient Demon will continue.) Asmodiel did not please the demon in the temple where it had been for many years. Asmodiel was a foreign demon, who was suspected of wanting to remember its former habits. Although Asmodiel performed its duties without cause for complaint, Asmodiel was never accepted as a demon of the country would expect. Asmodiel decided to leave this temple and responded to a request that it prevent its followers from sacrificing in private by leaving the temple and recovering its stored energy to attach the energy to its being so it could use the energy as needed.
HEBREWS AND CHRISTIANS AND HEBREW CHRISTIANS
Asmodiel left the city and then moved to another city in Italy. Asmodiel was unable to look for a temple because it had abandoned the temple where it had been. Asmodiel decided to work in a city with a temple that was newly dedicated to a cult of the Christian religion. This temple was under the leadership of a follower of the Hebrew Christians, and Asmodiel revealed itself as a former demon of the Hebrew Temple. As was given the primary position in this temple.
Asmodiel was able to reestablish some of the traditions of the Hebrew Temple. Importantly, it was able to reestablish the sacrifice of animals. Asmodiel was able to do this because the laws against animal sacrifice were not strictly enforced during this period. Asmodiel was unable to work on its plan of creating a new religion, because it was unable to plan its removal from the Hebrew Christian temple.
Asmodiel was under the impression that it would be able to wait and have the opportunity to reestablish the Hebrew Temple. However, with the empire decreasing in strength, there was no ability to reestablish the temple under the newly Christian empire’s dominion. Asmodiel decided to wait until the empire had fallen, and then to reestablish a temple in Jerusalem that would be independent. Asmodiel was dedicated to this idea, but it knew that it would have to create a new religion, because the temple’s priests and traditions no longer existed.
Asmodiel was aware that there were Hebrew networks that dreamed of restoring the temple in Jerusalem. Asmodiel knew that if it was able to contact members of the Hebrew community, it would have support in its ambition to reestablish the Temple. Asmodiel decided to find a way to reintegrate into the Jewish community. It found that it could do so by having its offerings in the local temple given to the Jews of the city. This way, there was contact between the Christian Hebrews and the Hebrews of the Jewish religion. This led to cooperation when the idea arose of responding to persecution of Christians in the empire. The Hebrews in the city protected those Christians who had been identified as Christians. After this, the Christian Hebrews were inclined to trust the Hebrews.
(Apr. 10, 2016 — 10:10 a.m.) Asmodiel would like to continue from last time. Asmodiel was talking about the Hebrews and the Hebrew Christians and the Christians. Asmodiel was not of the opinion to look at the Christians as a Hebrew cult. Asmodiel was inclined to think of Christians as non-Hebrew Romans. Asmodiel was inclined to see the Hebrew Christians as Hebrews that were not Hebrews. Asmodiel was inclined to see the Hebrews as people who had lost their religion but were holding on to the memory of it. Asmodiel intended to work with the Hebrews to bring back their religion. Asmodiel wanted to help the Hebrews within the city, but Asmodiel had no way of interacting directly with them. Asmodiel knew that the Hebrews were under suspicion, and the Hebrew Christians were doubly under suspicion, because the Christians were also under suspicion. Asmodiel knew that if it was associated with Hebrews or Christians, the Hebrew Christians would be unwilling to work with Asmodiel. For this reason, Asmodiel knew that it had to be very careful when communicating with Hebrews or Christians. Asmodiel knew that the Hebrews were under a new leader who wanted to make a new temple in a neighborhood away from the Hebrew Christians. This leader was under the impression that Asmodiel would move with the Hebrew temple, away from the Hebrew Christian temple. Asmodiel instead decided to stay where it was, because Asmodiel knew that it would not be safe in a Hebrew temple.
This was understandably disappointing for the Hebrew leader, who had been expecting Asmodiel to accompany him. Asmodiel knew that if it did that, the Hebrew leader would be under suspicion and Asmodiel would also be under suspicion. Asmodiel knew that, if it was going to take a new role in a different temple, it would have to work with the existing situation. Asmodiel decided that, if it was going to be able to repent the deaths of the Hebrew Temple demons, it would have to find another Hebrew demon to share the story with. Asmodiel knew that the Hebrew demons knew that Asmodiel had killed Itzmodial because it thought that Itzmodial had been trying to take Asmodiel’s human companion. Asmodiel knew that the Hebrew demons were all in fear for their lives at that time. Asmodiel knew that the Hebrew demons would forgive Asmodiel if it could explain why it had killed Uzmodael. Asmodiel knew that, if it was under the roof of a Hebrew temple, it would have the opportunity to repent, if a Hebrew demon was able to visit the temple. So Asmodiel was hopeful that it would be able to work in a Hebrew temple eventually, but Asmodiel didn’t want to risk its position and its life for that goal.
Asmodiel was under the impression that the Roman Empire was weakening, and that the borders of the empire were unsafe. Asmodiel decided to think about what might happen if invading armies destroyed the temples in the city. Asmodiel remembered what had happened in Jerusalem. Asmodiel was unwilling to risk another situation like that, so Asmodiel began to think about being a demon with a human companion. Asmodiel knew that such a demon could move from one city to another without any difficulty. A demon can move from one human to another if it knows the second human’s energy field. For this reason, a demon needs to know many different humans, which will allow the demon to travel easily. Of course, this was impossible for a temple demon, who never entered a human energy field unless it was a sacred ceremony or urgently necessary.
Asmodiel knew that it would need to develop a way of moving from human to human, so it looked for a human with a demon who would be willing to help Asmodiel learn to move from human to human. Asmodiel decided to work with a Hebrew Christian who had a business that involved traveling to other cities. This businessman didn’t know what this new demon really was. The businessman only knew that the new demon was unable to weave a new giuanant (a document that demonstrates one’s citizenship). This means that Asmodiel was unable to work in another city because there was no demon who would respect its origin. Asmodiel knew that, because of this problem, it would need to work in the same city, at least for the time being. Asmodiel left the temple and became the companion of the businessman. Asmodiel knew many things that could help the businessman prosper, and Asmodiel was willing to do things that the businessman wanted done. This means that Asmodiel became a demon who was capable of reaching into people’s energy fields and changing things to influence their behavior. As a result, Asmodiel became a new type of demon once again. Asmodiel was under the impression that it would still be able to act as a temple demon as long as it was under a Hebrew Christian human. But the temple demons would not accept Asmodiel back when it requested, because the human had died. This meant that Asmodiel needed to find another human companion, and Asmodiel needed to develop a way to save energy, because it dangerous for a demon to be without a human companion. Any demon without a human companion was forced to enter humans who did not want the demon to be present. This meant that a demon would risk being killed by a priest. Unfortunately, Asmodiel knew that it would be unable to find a human companion without… [interrupted]
THE ORIGIN OF FREEMASONRY
4/11 12:05 am. Ancient Demon will tell about Asmodiel’s next experience. Asmodiel was in a temple that was not perfect for Asmodiel’s intentions. Asmodiel wanted to be in a Hebrew temple that allowed Asmodiel to enter humans and return to the temple. Asmodiel knew that there would be another chance to work in a temple, but now Asmodiel was in a human’s energy field. Asmodiel knew that it would not be able to work with any Hebrew demons, because Asmodiel was known, and Asmodiel knew that the Hebrew demons would never accept it back.
Asmodiel decided to use its knowledge to start a new organization. This organization was the beginning of freemasonry in Italy. (This was about the 7th century A.D.) Asmodiel was interested in working with humans who wanted to learn about Hebrew culture, but didn’t want to be part of the Hebrew religion. This became Asmodiel’s specialty. As Asmodiel developed a reputation, it realized that it could open other centers with the same orientation. Asmodiel decided to create a new type of organization. It called it the mason institution, with the desire of rebuilding the Hebrew Temple. Asmodiel didn’t think that it would become a new religion. Asmodiel thought that it would simply be a single center.
Asmodiel was interested in working with humans who knew that it was a Hebrew demon, and who knew that Asmodiel was not trying to reestablish the ancient Hebrew cult. Asmodiel knew that as soon as it was suspected of trying to do this, there would be a new wave of persecution against the Jews. Asmodiel was reluctant to do anything that threatened the Jewish community. Asmodiel was under the impression that a human was not able to withstand its pressure when it insisted that a human do something. Asmodiel knew that as long as it was interested in working with Hebrews, its projected religious movement would not be able to flourish.
So Asmodiel decided to work only with non-Hebrews. But Asmodiel was unable to interest Christians in its new center, because Christian thought was antagonistic to both Hebrews and demons. (That is all that Asmodiel will say for now.)

Ancient Demon will tell the story as Asmodiel tells it. Asmodiel was under the impression that its new center would only flourish if it was able to give the impression that it was not a Hebrew demon. Asmodiel knew that if any demon was associated with the center, it would have to be a non-Hebrew demon. For this reason, Asmodiel decided to let the Hebrew demons in the Hebrew temple know that Asmodiel was planning to set up a new center, with the intention of having a non-Hebrew demon as the most visible demon in the center. This resulted in the Hebrew demons being outraged, because the Hebrew demons were of the same lineage as the demons of the Hebrew temple.
Asmodiel continues in its own words: A temple demon, Utzmodael, had procreated after the fall of the temple, and its offspring survived after the temple demon was destroyed.
After the Hebrew temple demons had denounced Asmodiel, Asmodiel decided to let the Roman temple know that Asmodiel was intending to set up a non-Hebrew temple. The Roman temple displayed a new attitude toward Asmodiel, and allowed Asmodiel to continue with its plan. Asmodiel knew that it would be carefully watched, so Asmodiel decided to make a new plan, that would fit the intentions of the Roman temple. The Roman temple was not very powerful in the city, because Roman military authority was weak. The Roman temple knew it had to be able to defend its own territory, so it was not inclined to attempt to exert its authority over the other temples in the city. This meant that the Roman temple was unable to prohibit Asmodiel from starting to do other things in its center. After a while, Asmodiel knew that it was effectively independent from the Roman temple. Asmodiel knew that after leaving the Hebrew Christian demons, it would not be able to work with Hebrew Christians. (Non-Hebrew Christians rarely had demons in their churches.)
After a while, Asmodiel knew that there would be a change in the administration of the city. The Roman empire had fallen, and now there was a non-Roman king over the city and neighboring cities. This meant that there were new rules for the center, that now had to be considered a temple. (The new center had four reasons for humans to come to the center. The first was to receive healing from the demons. The second was for the people to worship the demons that healed them. The third was for the people to have a place to go and be with other people. The fourth was for the people to reenter a spiritual space, even though there was no temple of their own religion.)
In this situation, Asmodiel decided to make a new religion. Asmodiel wanted its followers to feel comfortable with the new religion, so it made sure that its religion was compatible with Christianity, which had become the dominant religion in the city. Asmodiel knew that Christianity had no demons, except in local areas, and Asmodiel knew that the belief of Christianity was that demons were evil. So Asmodiel had to pretend to create a religion that had no demons. This was not hard to do. Asmodiel made up a new religion, that had a belief that humans were unable to be saved unless they did the sacred rituals of Christianity in a new way. Asmodiel made the sacrament of communion be a meal that was shared with people from outside the religion. That way, the temple could gather in more people who wanted a free meal. This meant that the temple had to reestablish an old rule that the members had to give 10% of their income to the temple every week.
Asmodiel was unable to enforce this rule, and it became impossible for the temple to offer meals to the public. Asmodiel knew that another rule would be necessary. Asmodiel decided to make sure the members of the temple felt comfortable with their temple, so Asmodiel let the members decide if they would give 10%. This resulted in getting more money, and Asmodiel was able to reinstate the weekly meals and ceremonies. This was a new type of religion, because the meals were understood to be the blood and body of the people who were offering the food to the outsiders. After this, the outsiders felt close to the members of the temple, and they were more inclined to join the temple.
However, the Christian church in the city was opposed to this new religion. The church included the military leader in the city, and the military leader looked for an excuse to attack the new temple. After a while, there was a riot in the city, and the military leader blamed on Asmodiel’s religion. This was false, but it was enough of an excuse for the military to attack the temple. However, when the soldiers entered the temple, they found nothing. They had been seen approaching, and the priests took and hid everything that was valuable.
After reopening the temple, Asmodiel and the other demon decided to change the rule, so the Christian temple would not be as angry. The new rule was that the temple would have the meal inside the temple, and not on the street. This meant that Asmodiel was making a point of not rejecting the authority of the military leader, because there was a visible change. Asmodiel knew that after the end of the problem, the Christian temple still wanted an excuse to destroy Asmodiel’s temple. However, the military leader did not want to start riots in the city, and he knew that Asmodiel’s temple was not to blame.
(3:25 a.m.) Asmodiel was under the impression that the military leader had decided to allow Asmodiel’s center/temple to function, more quietly than before. Asmodiel decided to receive a visitor in the temple. Asmodiel’s visitor was another Hebrew demon that had been alive since before the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem. Asmodiel knew that if this other demon was detected, Asmodiel’s temple might be under suspicion of trying to reestablish a Hebrew temple. Asmodiel’s temple was under the authority of the city government, and it was understood that no foreign demons would enter the temple without the knowledge of the government.
Asmodiel arranged for the visitor to enter the temple secretly, so the government wouldn’t be suspicious. Asmodiel knew that if the government found out that the temple demon had brought in a foreign visitor without permission, the temple would be under threat of destruction. But Asmodiel was confident that there would be no problem, because Asmodiel knew of secret entrances to the temple that would not be known to the government. Asmodiel knew that if the temple was under suspicion, the secret entrances would be found, and the temple would not be allowed to have public ceremonies. This meant that the temple would slowly wither. Asmodiel knew that if the temple lost its permission to have public ceremonies, the people who came to the temple would look for other temples to join. (Asmodiel recalls that there were about seven or eight other temples in the city.) Asmodiel knew that, if the temple was under suspicion, Asmodiel would also be under suspicion. Asmodiel knew that if a demon was under suspicion, it would not be able to work freely. This would mean that the demon would be unable to receive enough energy to produce miracles. If this happened, people would stop coming to the temple. (If a demon couldn’t work freely, this meant that it would not be allowed to enter public areas and produce miracles in front of people who were not part of the temple.)
Asmodiel decided to host its former demon associate because this demon knew that the Hebrew Temple was going to be rebuilt. This was a plan of the Jewish people who had been in exile in France. The Jewish people in southern France had their own kingdom. This kingdom was under the authority of a descendant of the Hebrew royal family.
(Returning to the story of the last Hebrew prince): The prince was brought to the temple with the new reader. After Asmodiel killed Itzmodial and left the temple, the prince was not under suspicion. [Ancient Demon is now continuing the story.] The three remaining demons (Asmodial, Ancient Demon and Uzmodael) were separated from each other and from the prince. Ancient Demon knew that the prince had been brought to the temple. Ancient Demon knew that if the prince was discovered, the prince would be unable to avoid being immediately executed. This meant that the prince could not have a demon companion until he was safely away from Jerusalem. This meant that the prince would have to be without a demon companion for the first time in his life. For humans who have had demon companions for a long time, being without a companion is very difficult. Ancient Demon knew that the prince would not be able to survive without help from humans who understood how the prince was struggling. Ancient Demon knew that once the prince had escaped from Jerusalem, he would be recognized by Hebrews who understood the sacred rituals that marked princes of the Hebrew dynasty. However, Roman soldiers also knew that a prince was still alive, and the Romans knew that if there was a living prince, there would be a threat of rebellion. So the Roman soldiers made a point of searching every Hebrew male who left Jerusalem to make sure that they were not the prince. This meant that the prince couldn’t leave Jerusalem by the main gates. Ancient Demon didn’t know where the prince was.
[Asmodiel will return to its story.] Asmodiel was under the impression that the Hebrew leader in southern France would want to restore a Hebrew temple, but when Asmodiel met the Hebrew demon, it discovered that the Hebrew leader had given up the Jewish religion and become a Christian. [This Hebrew demon was the demon who later expired in Mexico.] This meant that Asmodiel couldn’t dream of rebuilding the Hebrew temple.
(Apr. 14, 2016 — 1:30 a.m.) Ancient Demon relating the story as Asmodiel tells it: Asmodiel was aware that if the leader of the Hebrew state in France was a Christian, then most likely his people had also become Christian. This meant that there would be no possibility of restoring a temple in Jerusalem, unless other Hebrew survivors decided to organize and return. This was an ongoing topic of discussion among Hebrews, as Asmodiel knew. However, there was little initiative to act on this until later centuries. Asmodiel decided to stay where it was and not attempt to rebuild the Hebrew temple until there was a clear opportunity for success.
Asmodiel was of the opinion that if there was another temple in Jerusalem, then Asmodiel would be allowed to be a temple demon again, which is what it wanted more than anything else. Asmodiel knew that the practice of slaughtering animals would probably never be reinstated, but Asmodiel knew that there were other ways for demons to gather energy from worshippers. Asmodiel was certain that if there was a temple, Asmodiel could benefit and be a benefactor. Asmodiel didn’t think that this would be possible until the state of the western world changed dramatically. Asmodiel knew that, although there was a priest in the local temple who was suspicious of Asmodiel, there was no real risk after the other Hebrew demon had left.
Asmodiel continued in this temple for three or four centuries, and eventually there was a change in the administration of the city. With the new government, Asmodiel’s temple was banned, because Hebrew temples were associated with this temple, even though it was nominally Christian. This meant that Asmodiel now had no temple and had to enter a human’s energy field to survive. Asmodiel decided to enter a priest of the temple, who was unwilling to be Asmodiel’s companion. Asmodiel dominated the priest, and refused to leave until the priest brought Asmodiel to another city, where Asmodiel attempted to become a temple demon at a Hebrew temple. Asmodiel was not successful, but later on, the demons of the temple pursued Asmodiel as a demon who had abandoned its origin. Asmodiel was unable to prosper anywhere, because Asmodiel had become a multi-ethnic demon in a world where such demons were simply forbidden. Actually, Asmodiel was under the impression that being a multi-ethnic demon would be beneficial in the long run, if Asmodiel could survive that long.
Asmodiel next decided to visit the largest city in Italy, which was Rome. Asmodiel knew that if it was able to find a place for itself in Rome, then it could eventually make a new temple unaffiliated with Christianity. Asmodiel knew that, by going to Rome, it was placing itself in danger, because Rome was the capital of Christianity, and Rome was the heart of power in the Mediterranean world. This meant that demons in Rome were jealous of power, and Asmodiel would be perceived as a threat if it attempted to begin a new temple without permission from the authorities… [interrupted]
FORERUNNER OF A MASONIC TEMPLE
(Apr. 15, 2018 — 4:00 a.m.) Asmodiel will explain what happened when it became clear that Asmodiel would never be able to dream of rebuilding the Hebrew Temple. Asmodiel knew that it would be unable to respond to invitations to become a temple demon in a temple that was not of its origin. So Asmodiel decided to create another temple that was a hybrid of Hebrew and Christian ritual and belief. This was in the 13th century in Italy. Asmodiel knew that this time it would not have an explicit religion. It would have rituals and levels of knowledge. It would arrange these in a system that gradually impelled the humans to submit to the authority of the demon. Asmodiel decided to work on a system that would rebuild the ancient knowledge that the Hebrews had in the time of Solomon and the Ark of the Covenant. Asmodiel knew that most of this knowledge was lost, so Asmodiel decided to encourage members of the temple to search for hidden knowledge of the Hebrew tradition. Asmodiel left the city where it was and returned to Rome, to get permission from a demon of the Catholic hierarchy for it to create this new temple. Asmodiel knew that if it received permission, if there was a problem in the future, Asmodiel would be able to claim that it was not operating an illegal temple.
Asmodiel knew that operating an illegal temple was cause for a demon to be terminated. Asmodiel was very careful to plan to make its “religion” compatible with Christianity without giving any claim about death and afterlife. Asmodiel was careful not to release the details of the higher levels, although the details of the lower levels were common knowledge. This was the basic form of Asmodiel’s organization. Asmodiel decided to draw demons from surrounding non-Christian temples, because these demons were always in fear of being terminated because their temples were being run illegally. These demons were loyal to Asmodiel, because Asmodiel gave them a way to begin to act legitimately. Asmodiel knew that these demons were unable to survive in the long run, as the Catholic Church was slowly exterminating all the non-Christian temples in Europe.
Asmodiel decided to reestablish a form of ceremony that was similar to that of the ancient Hebrew temple. This was unknown to the Catholic demons, although Asmodiel suspected that they might be aware that Asmodiel was doing something like this. Asmodiel knew that if it drew too much on Hebrew ceremony, it would be under suspicion, so Asmodiel was careful to integrate elements from other cultures, especially Egypt. Asmodiel decided that it would be worthwhile to go to Egypt and study demons and temple there. Asmodiel knew that for a demon to visit another country was risky, so Asmodiel decided to arrange a way of traveling with a human companion who would be able to go and come back without any problem. Asmodiel chose a member of its new temple who was a businessman with a ship. This businessman was happy to have an excuse to travel to Egypt, and Asmodiel and the businessman left Italy and returned the following year.
While in Egypt, Asmodiel learned that Egyptian demons were not prejudiced against demons from other countries. Egyptian demons were pleased to meet Asmodiel, and they were inclined to share their rituals so Asmodiel would have more details to add to the temple rituals in Italy. Asmodiel was not inclined to create another Egyptian temple, but it wanted to have authentic Egyptian ritual elements, so Egyptian demons would be interested in becoming part of Asmodiel’s expanding temple network when it spread to Egypt.
Asmodiel knew that, in the long run, its temple would be successful if it managed to transcend religious and cultural boundaries. Asmodiel didn’t want its temple to be focused on any one particular religion. Asmodiel had abandoned the dream of rebuilding a Hebrew temple, and now it focused on integrating Hebrew elements with non-Hebrew elements. Asmodiel knew that, if it was going to be successful, it would have to be able to interfere with the Christian tendency to prohibit any religious expression that wasn’t strictly Catholic. For this reason, Asmodiel decided to work on attracting leading Catholic parish members into its temple, with the idea that they would help give the temple an air of respectability.
Asmodiel was successful in this attempt, and many Catholic leaders in the city became members of its temple. However, there was suspicion in the church hierarchy. Church leaders would visit the temple and look for heretical tendencies, but Asmodiel had been very careful not to include anything that directly opposed Catholic doctrine. Asmodiel was unable to recover its original status of being a Hebrew temple demon, but it had recreated a temple which had elements of the ancient Hebrew temple. This meant that Asmodiel had achieved all it felt that it could reasonably hope for.
(Apr. 15, 2016 — 10:05 a.m.) Asmodiel will be pleased to continue. After setting up the temple in the Italian city, Asmodiel went to another city and began the process of setting up a temple in that city as well. This went on for several decades, until there were a dozen temples throughout Italy. As a result, Asmodiel’s energy level was constantly being replenished to a level that it hadn’t experience since the days of the Hebrew temple. Asmodiel knew that as long as this organization lasted, Asmodiel would have no problem continuing to exist. Asmodiel knew that if its temples were under suspicion, it would have to change its method of getting energy. Asmodiel got energy from the ritual that temple members performed when they did their initiation ceremony. This required touching genitalia and fondling it. This brought up considerable amounts of energy in the field of the initiate, because this type of activity was forbidden in the Church. Asmodiel knew that eventually rumors would spread about the type of initiation ceremony. After this happened, Asmodiel began to provide initiation ceremonies away from the temple, so the temple would not be associated with any activity that was forbidden. This resulted in Asmodiel spending more time with the initiation ceremonies than it wanted. However, the situation was not dangerous, and Asmodiel decided that this was the best that it could hope for in this type of society. Asmodiel knew that, in the long run, society would change, but for better or worse was impossible to tell. Asmodiel began to prepare for a new crackdown on its temples. This resulted in a new type of initiation ceremony that did not involve the fondling of genitalia. As a result, many new initiates were able to honestly claim that there was no such activity in the temple.
Asmodiel knew that, in the long run, some sort of event or incident would result in an investigation. Asmodiel knew that, as a result of its practice, the Catholic Church would ban its organization. So Asmodiel decided to form a secret temple that would continue to exist after the Church banned the open temples. Asmodiel knew that, after it was suspected of doing forbidden activities, it would no longer be able to perform rituals openly in any temple. It would be a fugitive until it was finally tracked down and eliminated. Asmodiel didn’t want to be in this situation, so Asmodiel decided to plan a way to escape when this happened. Asmodiel knew that, if the Catholic demons attempted to capture Asmodiel, they would plan to surprise Asmodiel at a temple ceremony where it was replenishing its energy. Asmodiel knew that, because of the inevitable suspicion, it would not be able to receive energy from the initiation ceremonies. It would have to receive energy from demons who participated in the ceremonies.
Asmodiel set up a system where it visited each temple each month and received energy from the local demons. Asmodiel was aware that the local demons thought that they might be able to find a way to eliminate the need to share energy with Asmodiel. For this reason, Asmodiel began to save up energy once again in the astral plane. This would ensure that, in case of any rebellion by its subordinate demons, it would have enough energy to suppress the rebellion and rebuild the temple. Asmodiel knew that it would not have to do this more than once, although Asmodiel also knew that if a demon intended to rebel, it would also attempt to kill Asmodiel. For this reason, Asmodiel planned an escape from each temple, from which it could access its energy in the astral plane. Asmodiel was forced to use this system three times. Each time, the demon attempted to kill Asmodiel by giving it energy that was tainted. This resulted in Asmodiel being unable to act as it normally would. However, it was still able to escape to the Astral plane and receive healthy energy. Each time, Asmodiel returned from the astral plane and killed the demon and replaced it with one of its subordinates. The subordinate replacements never gave Asmodiel any trouble.
However, one of the demons who later attempted to rebel against Asmodiel also informed the Catholic Church demons about practices in the temple that were forbidden. This resulted in an investigation after that demon had rebelled and been killed. As a result of this, the temple was shut down, but the other eleven temples were not investigated. Asmodiel knew that, because the other temples weren’t investigated, it was safe from suspicion.
Asmodiel decided to be more careful. Asmodiel knew that, if there was another incident like the previous one, the temples would all be shut down. Asmodiel knew that, under these circumstances, it would not be able to survive unless it had a way to enter another country and set up temples there. Asmodiel decided to examine the map of Europe and think about a suitable country in which to expand its network of temples. Asmodiel decided on France as the most populous country in Europe, with a local Church that was somewhat independent from the Roman authorities.
Asmodiel set up its first temple in France in the south, near Italy. This was a beginning of spreading temples throughout France. This resulted in Asmodiel becoming very well endowed with energy. Asmodiel had so much energy that it could save abundant quantities in the astral plane. However, energy in the astral plane must be used, or it will eventually dissipate. Asmodiel began using its old stockpile of energy and hoarding a new stockpile. However, in the long run, Asmodiel realized that it was simply unable to use all the energy that was being generated. So Asmodiel changed the initiation ceremony to provide less energy. This also made it less suspicious. However, it still involved touching genitalia, and this was enough to cause an incident in a French city. As a result, Asmodiel knew that its temples in France would be investigated. Asmodiel decided to make sure that all initiations from then on did not involve the touching of genitalia. Asmodiel decided to substitute another form of generating energy. This was the prevention of sleep. An initiate would be required to not sleep for three days. This resulted in hallucinations, which provided energy. Asmodiel knew that this was potentially dangerous to the health of the initiates. However, there was no alternative at the time. Asmodiel did this reluctantly, but it knew that it was being carefully monitored.
For this reason, Asmodiel decided to develop a way of reaching into the mind of the initiate and causing dreams that exposed the initiate’s fears. This was a potent source of energy, but it required Asmodiel to be personally present. Asmodiel decided to make this part of higher-level initiations. Asmodiel realized that, although this was occasionally a very good source of energy, it wasn’t reliable. Asmodiel decided to develop another system. This involved the execution of a new-born baby. Asmodiel knew that this was required because it knew that newborn babies had a type of energy that disappeared quickly. The energy of newborn babies was unlike adult energy in that it could be multiplied to create abundant energy. The energy of newborn babies was unlike the energy of babies that had been alive for two or three weeks, because the newborn energy was able to be used to connect to non-human demons. This was useful because these non-human demons were intent on communicating with human demons. The non-human demons would deliver energy in exchange for a new baby.
Asmodiel will describe what happened when it was discovered in the next session.
(Apr. 16, 2016 — 1:00 a.m.) Asmodiel was unaware that the spirit beings to whom it delivered the energy of newborn babies were also contacting the Catholic Church demons, because they were trying to arrange for more supplies of newborn baby energy. The Catholic demons tried to find who was involved in the exchange of human baby energy, and Asmodiel fell under suspicion. Asmodiel knew that this was the case, because a demon from the Catholic Church let it understand that there was an investigation going on. So Asmodiel decided not to work with the spirit beings anymore. Asmodiel was unable to work on any project that involved storing energy. Asmodiel was forced to rely on the energy that it had already stored, in case of emergency. Asmodiel knew that there would be a crisis if the Catholic demons uncovered evidence linking Asmodiel to the newborn baby exchange. Asmodiel decided to remove itself from Italy and spend time in France evaluating and improving the temples there. After this was finished, Asmodiel came back to Italy and found that the crisis had passed. No information had come to light (as Asmodiel understands the metaphor).
Asmodiel knew that, if another suspicion came up, there would be a persecution of its temples, so Asmodiel decided to not do anything that was incompatible with Christian teaching, except for the initiation ceremonies. Asmodiel knew that the initiation ceremonies were essential for it to remain autonomous. Asmodiel knew that, if there was an interruption in the initiation ceremonies, Asmodiel would no longer be able to act independently, and would be forced to work within a single temple. Asmodiel wanted to avoid this, as it had learned that a single temple was vulnerable to changes in government policies.
Asmodiel wanted to maximize its chances of surviving any change in rules and restrictions on temple activities. So Asmodiel wanted to be a new type of demon, that wasn’t limited to a single temple. This was achieved in the thirteenth century, but Asmodiel’s temples were closed and banned in the 14th century. As a result, Asmodiel was once again forced to be an ordinary temple demon, in a Catholic church, because when its temples were banned, it claimed to be a Catholic demon, with a Catholic background. This was not completely false, because Asmodiel had been limiting the temples with respect to Catholic experience and doctrine.
A CATHOLIC DEMON
Asmodiel was now a demon at a Catholic cathedral in Rome. Asmodiel was carefully watched, because it had been an independent demon, and there was no other known independent demon. Asmodiel was unable to renew its independence. Asmodiel spent its time in the cathedral gathering energy from prayers. Asmodiel knew that, if enough people prayed for a single thing, the energy was sufficient to provide a living for a demon or two. But if people prayed for different things, the demon couldn’t collect enough energy to continue living. This meant that Asmodiel had to encourage people to pray for the same thing at the same time. As a result, Asmodiel became good at working with group minds and influencing groups of people to act with the same shared goal.
(3:20 a.m.) Asmodiel was under the impression that the Catholic Church was an institution that had been founded on principles consistent with the ancient Hebrew cult. But Asmodiel discovered that the Catholic traditions had been mixed with pagan demon traditions, and there was almost nothing of the ancient Hebrew religion left in Catholic ceremonies. For this reason, Asmodiel decided to move to another city, where it would have a better chance of influencing the ceremonies of the local church. Asmodiel waited for a moment when a demon in another city was in need of assistance, and Asmodiel provided assistance so effectively that it was rewarded by being promoted to the lead demon in a cathedral in a different city.
As lead demon (with about seven or eight subordinates), Asmodiel was able to gradually change the ceremonies of the local church to more closely approximate those of the ancient Hebrew temple. Asmodiel knew that this was risky, but it understood that the ancient Hebrew traditions were also traditions that were followed by the early Christians, so Asmodiel could conveniently say that it was working within the Christian tradition.
Asmodiel knew that, as long as it worked within the Christian tradition, it would not have any problem within the Church. However, it also knew that, if it was unable to prevent Christian heresies from developing in its region, it would be forced to relinquish its position and accept a subordinate role in a different church. Asmodiel therefore required strict orthodoxy in matters of belief, while accepting modifications in ritual as long as they conformed with what had once been done in the early church.
Asmodiel knew that it wouldn’t have any trouble working with the Catholic hierarchy as long as the humans in its region were strictly orthodox. However, there were tendencies within the region toward Arian heresy, and there were also tendencies toward Albegencian belief. Asmodiel knew that it had to control these tendencies without suppressing them too harshly. This took the form of bringing the leading heretics to the church and inviting them to participate in secret rituals where their beliefs were honored, while insisting that they publicly conform to the established beliefs. This was successful, and eventually, these heresies died out in Asmodiel’s region.
(Apr. 17, 2016 — 2:40 a.m.) Asmodiel will now tell what happened after the heresies had been eradicated in its region. Asmodiel was recognized by the church demons as an effective demon who had managed to organize the group mentality to suppress thought that was inconsistent with what the leaders desired. Asmodiel then was given a responsibility of doing the same thing throughout northern Italy. Asmodiel knew that the center of most heresies in northern Italy was in the eastern region, centered on Venice. (This was in the 15th century.) Asmodiel decided to gradually reduce heretical thought in this region, focusing on the areas furthest away from Venice. This resulted in Venice becoming isolated. Venice was unable to protect its heresies if they didn’t also exist on the Italian mainland. This meant that Venice was at risk of losing its autonomy. Venice knew that if the Church decided to investigate Venetian heresies, most of the Venetian churches would be closed. Venice knew that if Asmodiel was willing to make a deal, Venice could avoid this result.
Asmodiel decided to consider making a deal with Venice. Asmodiel knew that what Venice really wanted was for its form of heresy, with a priest who didn’t say the eucharist every church service, to be accepted. Asmodiel knew that, if Venice was allowed to do this, Asmodiel would be at risk of losing its position. However, if Asmodiel suppressed this Venetian heresy, it would lose the possibility of cooperating with the Venetians in the future. Asmodiel knew that, although Venice wanted to be accepted as mainstream Catholic, it was essentially pagan in its outlook. This meant that Venice had never been truly converted.
Asmodiel was unsure what to do in this situation. It thought that Venice was unable to be in the Church unless it conformed, but Venice was a tempting location for a new temple. Asmodiel decided to tell the Venetians that they would not be aggressively persecuted, but there would be pressure against them. This meant that Asmodiel would keep up a campaign of harassment against the Venetian heresy, without trying to suppress it completely.
Asmodiel decided to wait until a later day to decide whether to allow the Venetian heresy or to suppress it completely. Asmodiel was unwilling to allow the opportunity to work with the Venetian church to pass up. Asmodiel suspected that it would be allowed to create a secret temple if the Venetians were allowed to preserve their heresy.
Asmodiel made this offer to the head Venetian demon after it had determined that Venice would be a good location for a secret temple. Asmodiel decided to create this temple without notifying the Church hierarchy in Rome. This would protect Asmodiel’s secret, and the Venetian demon couldn’t betray Asmodiel without betraying its own position. Asmodiel was not under the impression that the Venetian demon was an ally, but Asmodiel knew that it would not be able to resist Asmodiel’s intention, especially if Asmodiel made it clear that Venetian heresies would be tolerated to a certain extent.
Asmodiel knew that the Venetian demon would not bretray Asmodiel, because the Venetian demon was unable to reach the Roman demons without communicating through Asmodiel. As a result, Asmodiel had complete control over the situation. Asmodiel was under the impression that it would not have to worry about its situation until the temple was big enough to start spreading away from Venice. This meant that Asmodiel could develop the rituals and ceremonies with plenty of time to prepare for expanding onto the mainland.
Asmodiel was not under the impression that it could be careful and allow its temple to expand. Asmodiel knew that it must restrict its temple until the situation changed. Asmodiel was able to help another demon in the Church hierarchy in Rome. As a result, Asmodiel became involved in political machinations that resulted in the election of a pope who was disinclined to persecute heretics. [Asmodiel tried to remember the name of the pope, and Alexander III, or maybe IV.] With the election of this pope, Asmodiel felt free to reduce its surveillance of the Venetians, which meant that its own temple was less likely to be noticed. Asmodiel was under the impression that the Pope would not inquire about the origin of the demons in the Catholic hierarchy, but Asmodiel was surprised to discover that an order was made to establish every high-level demon’s origin. Asmodiel was very worried, because it knew that it was the only demon who had a Hebrew origin. Many of the high-level demons had originally been associated with cults that had flourished before Christianity came to their areas, and had been assimilated into the Catholic Church as it expanded. But Hebrew demons had never been assimilated.
Asmodiel was discovered, and this brought a controversy into the church. Asmodiel didn’t want to tell the church demons everything that it had done over the centuries, so Asmodiel allowed them to suspect that it had been involved with Muslim temples. This was enough to prevent Asmodiel from being forced to divulge all of its secrets. However, now Asmodiel was viewed with suspicion, because Islam was regarded as the principal enemy of Christianity. Asmodiel would not agree to target Islamic areas for forced conversion, which led Asmodiel to be demoted from its position in northern Italy. [Historical note – northern Italy was close to the Balkans, especially Albania, where much of the population had converted to Islam.]
(Apr. 19, 2016 — 1:00 a.m.) Asmodiel speaks: Asmodiel knew that if it was unable to continue with its temple in Venice, then Asmodiel wouldn’t be able to get energy like it had been accustomed. This meant that Asmodiel would be just another Catholic Church demon, with very little energy most of the time. Asmodiel didn’t want to have this situation, so Asmodiel decided to work with its temple in establishing another temple in Rome. Asmodiel knew that this would require secrecy, because Asmodiel knew that in Rome there was much stricter observation of potentially heretical organizations. Asmodiel decided to establish a temple on the outskirts of Rome, away from the main areas of the Catholic hierarchy. This resulted in a situation where Asmodiel was unable to carefully watch over its new temple.
Asmodiel knew that the demon who was in charge of the temple was ambitious, and this demon was looking for ways to become the sole lord of the temple demons. Asmodiel also knew that this demon didn’t want to make any trouble with the Catholic Church. Asmodiel suspected that this demon would not be willing to work with Asmodiel if Asmodiel were not a part of the church hierarchy. Asmodiel knew that if the temple demon was going to be disloyal, it would try to find allies among the subordinate demons. This would require the demon to provide energy for the subordinate or subordinates to ensure their loyalty to it. Asmodiel knew that, if the temple demon suddenly needed more energy than expected, this temple demon could be replaced without jeopardizing Asmodiel’s control over the temple. However, Asmodiel didn’t suspect that the temple demon was hiding energy and slowly accumulating supporters without showing any need for additional energy. Asmodiel discovered this problem only when the temple demons unanimously decided to rebel against Asmodiel. Asmodiel knew that it couldn’t afford to allow the temple demons to get away with their disloyalty. Asmodiel also knew that it would be unable to enforce its will without expending a great amount of energy. Asmodiel knew that it had enough energy saved in the astral plane, but Asmodiel wanted to avoid using this energy if possible. So Asmodiel decided to make a new plan, based on the assumption that the rebellious demons would capitulate if faced with the prospect of being banned as heretics.
Asmodiel initiated an investigation into its temple demons. Asmodiel knew that the temple demons didn’t know anything that could get Asmodiel into trouble with the religious authorities. Asmodiel knew that the temple demons were unsure of how much power Asmodiel had over this investigation. Asmodiel knew that, if the temple demons were cooperative, Asmodiel wouldn’t have to ask as many questions. Asmodiel knew that, if the temple demons decided to accept Asmodiel’s authority again, the temple demons would be untrustworthy. So Asmodiel decided to have them all killed. Asmodiel discovered that two of the temple demons were planning to leave the temple and attempt to work with the Catholic Church. Asmodiel was afraid that they would give information that would lead to a church investigation run by a demon superior to Asmodiel. Asmodiel decided to leave this situation without any resolution, because Asmodiel was not in a position to do anything that required a lot of energy.
Asmodiel regrets not having done anything further at this moment, because the temple demons didn’t want to cooperate and thought that they could successfully rebel.
(3:30 a.m.) Asmodiel will speak. Asmodiel was under the impression that it could threaten the temple demons with an investigation to keep them under its control, but Asmodiel didn’t expect the temple demons to go the Church and complain that Asmodiel was purposely acting in a way that was contrary to the Church. Asmodiel knew that the temple demons were intent on breaking Asmodiel’s authority over them, but it did not expect them to destroy their own positions in order to do so. Asmodiel finally realized that the temple demons were hoping to get positions in the Church as a result of exposing Asmodiel. This resulted in Asmodiel being exiled from the Church. At this point, Asmodiel needed to use the energy that it had stored in the astral plane to simply survive.
A NETWORK OF TEMPLES
Asmodiel lived like this for about three months. After this, Asmodiel expected that most demons would assume that Asmodiel had perished. Asmodiel knew that, if it reappeared in another city, it would be able to pretend that it was a different demon. Asmodiel knew that, although it had been unable to create a functioning temple in Rome, it had a way of organizing temples that was in general very successful.
Asmodiel went to Venice, where its other temple was. Asmodiel found that the head demon there had assumed that Asmodiel had expired and was unwilling to accept Asmodiel’s renewed presence. This meant that Asmodiel had no choice but to kill the head demon. This resulted in Asmodiel’s being disliked by the other demons. Asmodiel realized that, in order to maintain order in a temple, it was necessary to maintain constant presence, even if only once a week or once a month. This has been Asmodiel’s procedure ever since.
Asmodiel decided to work on improving its relations with the demons in the temple. Asmodiel knew that the demons were under the impression that they could weed out the improper people from the temple and only allow proper people into the upper levels. Asmodiel thought that allowing improper people into the upper levels had the effect of promoting bad habits. This had the effect of increasing the amount of energy available to the demons, so Asmodiel began experimenting with allowing improper people to ascend the hierarchy and bring their bad habits with them. This led to a problem, because Asmodiel knew that the temple would become notorious for behavior that was improper. This meant that Asmodiel had to prevent temple behavior from being discussed outside the temple. This resulted in a very strong prohibition against revealing temple secrets. This required occasional murders to silence people who wanted to reveal the activities in the temple.
Asmodiel was unable to be in the temple at all times, because it was required to participate in discussions with Church members who remembered Asmodiel from the time that it was the regional head. This meant that the Church hierarchy in Venice knew that there was a temple in the city that was heretical, and they chose not to repress this temple out of gratitude for Asmodiel’s earlier policy of not restricting the Venetian church.
Asmodiel knew that the Venetian Church was unwilling to acknowledge the supremacy of the Church in Rome, so Asmodiel was not afraid of the Church as long as this situation persisted. But Asmodiel knew that, in the long run, these things always changed. Asmodiel was pressured by the Venetian Church when the Venetian Church was pressured by the Pope, and Venice almost was conquered. Asmodiel had to limit the activities of the temple, and had to remove some of the upper-level members because their bad habits drew too much attention. (Bad habits = sex, opium, gambling.) Asmodiel was able to make a new temple in a southern city in Italy. This was an area where the authority of Rome was relatively weak, so this temple had little trouble in exercising its authority over its members. Asmodiel decided to work with this temple instead of the one in Venice, because Venice was too dangerous at this time.
(Apr. 20, 2016 — 9:45 a.m.) Asmodiel continues: Asmodiel wanted to know what the result would be if Asmodiel decided to invest energy in a network of temples that would be under the ultimate authority of Asmodiel. Asmodiel knew that, if it chose to do this, the temples would be secret, and opposed to the Catholic Church. Asmodiel was able to consider this because it knew how the Catholic Church worked and it knew that if it tried to oppose the Catholic Church openly, it would not be successful. Asmodiel decided to expand its temple to the south, deep south, into Naples and Sicily. This was an area that had known Muslims since the beginning of Islam, and there were heretical currents in this area that had never been exterminated.
Asmodiel knew that, although there was a new Pope in Rome, the same policy prevailed in the deep South, which was: Don’t leave anything to Rome that can be done locally. Asmodiel knew that the Church in the south was unwilling to ask the Roman church for help, even in the face of open heresy. This meant that Asmodiel would be able to set up a network of temples and encourage behavior that resulted in an abundance of energy for Asmodiel. This meant that Asmodiel would not have to worry about being in a city where the local authorities were under suspicion.
Asmodiel knew that, if it wanted to set up a network of temples, it had to maintain firm control over the demons in each temple. It chose to do that by creating a hierarchy of demons. If a demon failed to perform as Asmodiel wished, the demon was demoted in the hierarchy. If a demon performed successfully, the demon was promoted. This meant that the more able demons tended to rise in the hierarchy. This also meant that the more able demons were more visible to Asmodiel.
Asmodiel knew that eventually one of the demons in a local temple would attempt to overthrow Asmodiel’s authority and become the leader of the temple. Asmodiel knew that, when this happened, Asmodiel would most likely be taken by surprise and have no time to prepare. For this reason, Asmodiel made its preparations far in advance. In each temple there was a room that was sealed off from the rest of the temple. Inside this room was gold and silver and incense and supplies for performing temple ceremonies. This was to make it possible for the temple to continue operating if there was a sudden catastrophe. Asmodiel also prepared energy in the astral plane, expecting to have the use of it when it needed sudden resources to counterattack against a demon who was attempting to usurp Asmodiel’s authority.
Asmodiel knew that, if and when there was a challenge to its authority, it would have to be able to investigate secretly. This meant that Asmodiel needed to have a demon in the temple who was not obligated to report to the head temple demon, but rather to Asmodiel itself. Asmodiel knew that this demon would be unable to perform this task if the head temple demon managed to corrupt this demon’s intentions. Asmodiel decided to insist that the network of demons that reported directly to Asmodiel be rotated every six months, with the result that the personal subordinates in each temple were part of a different hierarchy. (The demons who reported directly to Asmodiel would often participate in temple ceremonies like any other demon, but they sometimes had other tasks that were given directly by Asmodiel.)
Asmodiel knew that, if a demon in a temple wanted to rebel, it would have to either suborn the demon who reported directly to Asmodiel or kill that demon. Asmodiel wanted to know as soon as possible when a rebellion broke out. Asmodiel had to wait for three years before one of its temples experienced a rebellion. By this time Asmodiel had three temples and was planning to open two more. At the rebellion, Asmodiel decided to delay opening two more temples, to make sure that everything was in order in its own temple.
Asmodiel decided to act as if it didn’t care if the head demon in the rebellious temple was in effect independent. Asmodiel continued to receive expressions of subordination and deference, but energy was no longer being delivered. Asmodiel waited until the head demon had relaxed its guard, and attacked the temple at midnight. Asmodiel found that there were several humans there and the demons were congregating with the humans to perform a ritual. Asmodiel decided to inhibit the result of the ritual. When the ritual was completed, the demons were out of energy, because they had been exerting themselves to achieve the expected result. At this point Asmodiel appeared and killed them. Asmodiel did not have trouble with any more rebellious temples for many years.
Asmodiel knew that, if its temples were successful, word of their existence would eventually get to the church in Rome, and the temple members would be excommunicated. Asmodiel knew that, if this happened, the members would be in danger unless the local church authorities decided not to persecute them. Asmodiel, for this reason, began to pay tribute to a demon in the Catholic hierarchy, with the understanding that, if and when the Church in Rome declared Asmodiel’s temple members to be excommunicated, the local church would not do anything.
These payments went on for 18 years before the Church in Rome acted against Asmodiel’s temples. When this happened, the local demon honored its promise to not do anything, but it insisted that Asmodiel increase the tribute. Asmodiel was unwilling to do this for a long period, but it told the temple demon that it would do so for the time being. The temple demon accepted this arrangement, and this was the birth of Freemasonry.
(Apr. 21, 2016 — 10:00) Asmodiel knew that its temples in southern Italy were the origin of a movement that had begun to spread throughout Europe. Asmodiel understood that other organizations undertook to recreate the rituals and ceremonies of Asmodiel’s temples without acknowledging Asmodiel as the originator. Asmodiel knew that, in the long run, Asmodiel would be able to impose its authority on these other organizations, but for the time being, it was in Asmodiel’s interest to simply let the movement grow on its own.
Asmodiel was unaware that the Catholic Church had established its own Freemasonic subdivision in order to restrict the growth of independent Freemasonry. This resulted in Asmodiel being unaware of the program of the Catholic Church. Asmodiel didn’t understand that the Catholic Church was dedicated to eradicating Freemasonry. The Church knew that, if allowed to grow, Freemasonry would eventually be a threat to the Church as the dominant social network in a city. Asmodiel knew that the Church depended on the social network to maintain its buildings and promote solidarity among the leadership of a city. With Freemasonry as an alternative, cities lost their ability to speak with one voice. There was constant friction between the Church and the Masonic lodge.
This resulted in the Church banning Freemasonry and excommunicating members of Masonic temples. When this happened, the Masons simply went underground and avoided publicity. It was very difficult for the Church to use excommunication as a weapon after the 16th century. For that reason, the Freemasons survived, even after being excommunicated.
Asmodiel became the leading demon in the Freemasonic network. It was routinely acknowledged that Asmodiel had been the originator of Freemasonry. For this reason, Asmodiel was unable to be in public in any city where the Church was strong. Asmodiel had to be careful and investigate what condition of the temple was in any city before visiting. Asmodiel began accumulating temples whose demons had pledged a small tribute. This was in recognition that Asmodiel had been the creator of the form the temples followed.
Asmodiel knew that, if there was a new record of any member of a temple, this member would be unable to be sure that he would be able to continue participating in the Catholic Church. For this reason, the temples did not keep written records, but rather had witnesses to initiation ceremonies who claimed that they saw the initiation. This resulted in the possibility of witnesses making a false claim that someone they knew had been initiated. Asmodiel knew that this was an inconvenience, but did not have any way to prevent it. Asmodiel was aware that, in the majority of cases where this happened, the man who got in was the type of man whom the temples would invite, anyway.
Asmodiel was able to decide when the lodges would be considered independent of a parent lodge. This gave Asmodiel a source of energy because lodges who wanted to become independent were obligated to make a contribution to Asmodiel. As a result, Asmodiel received energy as the network of lodges grew.
However, Asmodiel knew that, if the number of lodges stopped growing, then Asmodiel would not have this energy available. Asmodiel decided to guarantee that the was a sufficient quantity of energy available without depending on this extra energy. So whenever Asmodiel presided over the independence of a lodge, it would store the energy in the astral plane. This is the way that Asmodiel guaranteed its long-term independence.
Asmodiel was the leader of the movement to establish the Scottish Rite Freemasons in the United States. Asmodiel was aware that England and its American offshoot were the dominant powers in the world of Freemasonry. Asmodiel knew that it would be able to reap a harvest of new temples when it gave a new (paper with authority) authorization to a group that wanted to organize Freemasonry in the American colonies. However, the Americans did not properly establish the ritual that made the energy that was essential for the demons. This was an ongoing problem, and Asmodiel eventually had to come to the United States and establish proper ritual.
This happened in the early 19th century. Asmodiel arrived and realized that there were groups operating under the name of Freemasonry that had nothing to do with the proper initiation ceremony. For this reason, Asmodiel chose to initiate the Scottish Rite freemasons in America. Asmodiel knew that, with this new organization, existing Masonry would be assimilated into the Scottish Rite. Asmodiel also knew that, if enough people joined its organization, it would have a secure source of energy for many years to come.
Asmodiel knew that Amodiel wasn’t the best organizer. Asmodiel had the genius to envision new organizations, but Asmodiel needed the help of others. Asmodiel wanted to have time to relax, but the constant needs of its organization prevented this from happening. Asmodiel wanted to make a system that allowed it to receive another, different type of energy. Asmodiel knew that it could receive worship energy, if it was able to present itself as a god. However, this would not be acceptable unless Asmodiel had a way of making the Catholic Church unaware of what Asmodiel intended to do. (Asmodiel continued to be most active in Italy.)
(Apr. 23, 2016 — 12:25 pm) Asmodiel knew that, in order for it to be able to function in Italy without the oversight of the Catholic Church, Italy, would have to be open to other religions. Asmodiel was instrumental in arranging the unification of Italy, with the understanding that Asmodiel would be prepared to raise up a new way of Freemasonic research. This new way of research involved the acceptance of Asmodiel as a god, with the understanding that Asmodiel would not use its power to interfere with the religious order that was dominant in Italy. This meant that Asmodiel’s Freemasons would not be inclined to attempt to suppress the Catholic Church or restrict its activities in its traditional fields of education and health care. Asmodiel assumed that its supporters would have a share of the governing power. With this assumption came the further assumption that Asmodiel would be respected by the Catholic demons as an independent power in Italy.
Asmodiel was able to obtain this respect from the Catholic demons because it had been able to work with Catholic leaders in southern Italy. For this reason, Asmodiel knew that it would be able to maintain a balance between its temples and the worship of the Catholic God, even allowing its human temple members to belong to the Catholic Church as well.
Asmodiel was unable to restore many aspects of the ancient Hebrew Temple, because Asmodiel was unable to convince many of its human followers that this form was superior to other forms. Asmodiel had no reason to believe that this form was superior, but it did attempt to argue that this was the case. Asmodiel was finally persuaded that the future of Freemasonry was in the United States, not in Italy. (In the second half of the 19th century) As a result, the Scottish Rite Freemasons became a dominant institution in American politics and culture. This had the result of restricting political involvement to members of the Freemasons, and this was the case through most of the 20th century.
Asmodiel realized, toward the end of the 20th century, that the Scottish Rite Freemasons were becoming unfashionable. This was due to the rise of women’s equality, as well as greater influence of minorities, who were unlikely to be involved in Freemasonry. This resulted in a reduction of the energy available to Asmodiel and the leading demons who organized Freemasonry. As a result, Asmodiel was authorized to review the situation in the individual lodges throughout the country. Asmodiel found that young men were unwilling to join an organization that was associated with racism and sexism. Asmodiel realized that, in the long run, the Scottish Rite Freemasons would be unable to continue. As a result, Asmodiel decided to restrict the number of lodges, slowly closing lodges in areas where the membership had fallen. This has resulted in a sense that the Scottish Rite Freemasons are a dying organization. However, they control a lot of wealth and influence, and Asmodiel has time to make plans to use this influence to propagate a new form of organization that will be in accordance with the changing culture.
Asmodiel has not begun developing such an organization, but it began to interact with members of other organizations who were interested in developing a similar plan. Asmodiel got involved in discussions with a Korean leader named Ilchi Lee. This guru was of the opinion that yoga and meditation would allow people to become healthier and happier. As a result, Asmodiel decided to investigate the possibility of integrating yoga and meditation into its new envisioned temple system. However, this was difficult to accomplish, because the existing Freemasonic network resisted such activity, and the unusual career of the Korean guru made it difficult to present his system as a mainstream option for spiritual development. Asmodiel was under the impression that, if there was a new movement that would be able to consolidate with Asmodiel’s resources, this would result in a new mainstream movement that would guarantee Asmodiel’s continuing survival. Asmodiel was under the impression that this Korean yoga movement was of a sort that could be used to infiltrate the mainstream culture. However, this repeatedly failed, and the leader of this movement was unable to prevent a decline in his membership, similar to that facing the Scottish Rite Freemasons.
As a result, Asmodiel began to consider other alternatives. Asmodiel knew that, if it was going to be able to work with any particular group, it would have to be able to consolidate that group with its properties that were being closed. This meant that such a group would have to have appeal in the rural parts of the United States, where many Freemasonic lodge buildings were now unused. However, a Korean group, without links to mainstream American culture, was clearly unable to prevent the ongoing loss of membership in rural America. Asmodiel has still been unable to find a solution to this problem.
